So no fix for the AK 30 tomes? Really?
I, for one, think this is great! I have loved every warcraft novel that has been written by Christie Golden. War Crimes quite possibly being the best written one (the way it ties in so many of the quests and events that the player has been a part of). I look forward to seeing what she writes next!
Awesome to see Christie Golden join the universe she helped build! She is very talented, and one can only hope she will influence the lore more heavily! Also, new book coming? If so, I am hyped.
Despite what people have said I like Christine Golden's work. Her Star Trek books are amazing and I always enjoy her works. End of the day, if you don't like what someone how someone writes then don't read their books. Simple really.
Christie Golden is my favorite Warcraft writer by a large margin; excited to see her at Blizzard! Also @perculia - Golden also wrote the Warcraft Movie Novelization, if you wanted to add it to the list. I love that one.
This is why Wowhead needs a down vote option....
Wow, they had time to fix warrior jump fest.
"When leaving Skyhold, Warriors are now protected by Val’kyr who insist that the player land safely and not disconnect." oh no common :( that rock at azhuna was our little special place :(
As a Warrior main i have to GREATLY appreciate this change. Jumping down from skyhold to (let's say stormhiem) only to end up DC'ing and Falling in to *expletive deleted* Azsuna and falling so i lose 50% of my mother-*expletive deleted* HP. so i get ganked by some *expletive deleted**expletive deleted**expletive deleted**expletive deleted**expletive deleted* son of a *expletive deleted*! So yes, I'm happy with this change.
She did the amazing starcraft Dark Templar Saga Trilogy too guys holy molly. Now they must hire Knaak, creator of Warcraft (War of Ancients) and Diablo (Sin War) trologies.
.... Wait, they hired her? But she's not a great writer. I mean she's "alright", she gets the job done but it's simple writing, with two dimensional characters and battle scenes that read like player gameplay. The dialogue in her books often reads like a child's school play. It's okay for a quick read but definitely not something you want to promote in game. Hell, what position was it? Maybe I'll apply if the bar is going to be set that insanely low. I'm not kidding myself here, I know I'm a terrible writer but even I can do better her work :/That being said, it's quite a big deal to get hired by a company you love, so a genuine congrats to her.... and I do hope she proves me wrong 'cause right now I'm expecting a lot of poorly written characters with nonsensical motivations. Please prove me wrong, reading terrible writing is a pet-peeve of mine.
