There's another catch: pieces have 250g vendor value. Good for catchup I suppose, but don't hold onto them too long; the repair costs are insane and add up quickly.
You can upgrade covenant armor in Oribos as well, at the pvp gear upgrader, Aggressor Zo'dash
How about that, I had no idea you could upgrade those pieces.
Now allow toons with 50 to do the campaign quest or better unlock it account wide in same covenant, let us earn renown at level 50 besides the 4 from the zones, make them equippable from level 50, and you could use those items instead of account gear in shadowlands... But this would be too alt friendly i guess. Guess at max level better push renown fast and get 184 wq ilvl instead of wasting so much anima.
The fact that there are 3 levels of set bonuses from actually equipping the covenant armor might be worth mentioning. The bonuses are only effective in open world Shadowlands zones.
Shame the weapon has no stats and is cosmetic only, it's the only thing I have under 197.
Dont know where this gear is good for...@ the time you can do Chapter 4 (Renown 8) item level 164 you are item level 170@ the time you can do Chapter 5 (Renown 11) item level 171 you are item level 175@ the time you can do Chapter 6 (Renown 13) item level 177 you are item level 180Think you get it now :)
It's the transmog cost that will get you. 250g to transmog each.
I'm rocking the full 190 set and will definitely upgrade it to 197 next week. The set is great for doing world content and it's higher ilvl than anything you can get without organized raiding or mythics. I rotate one piece out for a legendary b/c there are 9 pieces to the set but you only need 8 for the full set bonus. The upgrades will cost you several thousand anima overall, though.
alternative title:How to make a better use of Vanish and be more annoying between your (rogue's) resets
I wish they’d set something up where we can turn these in and get some of the anima back for these that was used for upgrading when we replace them. I know that’s not usual but it would be a way to get more anima down the road when we’ll need more.
