Earlier this month? It's literally Jan 2nd.
For me it look really boring, nothing really new here.
I'm sad to say this, but it does feel kinda underwhelming. Of course it might feel different once I get to play it. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Also kinda feels like a mobile game.
When it comes to making money, they have:- Premium base price- Physical CE without a game key- Season pass- Cosmetic shop- Planned expansionsWhen it comes to the game itself, it just looks an old gen good looking game.
I am going to play Sorceress.
I might be missing something but in the 'Ancients' obelisk' video we seem to be following the Rogue class while they fight while Dara the actual sorceress is kind of off screen most of that video.
No real innovation here, the other classes looks much more interesting.
Am I the only one concerned about some offensive teleport for the sorceress? I mean, 10.8 seconds cooldown, with a talent bringing it down to 7.8 seconds. Possibly some of the other aspects of the game get it down more. But are you really supposed to teleport into a bunch of enemies and stick around between them with what is supposed to be one of the most fragile glass cannons in gaming?
cooldown on movement abilities. I love mmo cooldown combat in my arpgs
Seriously lacking in skill customization.Diablo 3 on release had 8 runes you could choose for each skill as well as items that modified them (grant all runes), set bonus ect.
Those cooldowns... Even in D1 you could teleport everywhere endlessly as long you have manapots. And D2 was best in 1.06 because with 1.07 they introduced cooldown to frostorb. Its a game. Let players have fun. I really dont get the mindset of the devs. Pulling everything with teleport, invincible mana shield and bomb them away with nova and immolation was the best time.
Fine, expand an ARPG to consoles. I get it. But have tons of buttons to press and moves to use like Ark if we so desire. This game looks insanely boring, and it's in part because of the lack of moves to use, a lot of which have high cooldowns.
