Good.
Good riddance! Hope Blizz goes after more spammers...and the botters, as well.
Hopefully this will reduce the trade spam.
Hopefully, it's done case by case and not fully automated...
He deserved it. Selling pvp or M+ is not what you suppose to do. M+ or others contents are made to do it by yourself and not by paying it.
Play stupid games...
It's good that Blizzard is doing something about them. However, if Ghormor claims he has been doing everything within the ToS and that his account banned because a change that has been made to the ToS, I think it's unfair how this went down. If a change is made to battle these boost sellers, it's only fair that people will receive a heads-up notice about this change. Yes, I agree it's highly annoying to see the spam of these sales but if they are following the rules of the ToS you can't be mad against them. They follow the rules Blizzard has set-up for this. People like Ghormor have spend years building up where they are now. Seeing it go away like this and nothing to do about it is unfair to anyone. If they would have made this change and made them aware of it and give them a week to sort it out and then still break the ToS it's fair. Just imagine you work on something for years and it's all gone this way.
Would be nice if they addressed quite big ToS changes that can get you banned like they did with the multiboxing change. Not just do them and then surprise people with it. I say that as someone who've never sold/advertised boosts but if they do it in one area how can I trust them to not change something I naturally do to be bannable suddenly?
Hahahahaha glad, stay banned forever!
Some of these comments are very mislead as to what caused the ban, he was banned for having an account which was made to advertise his services. Not for those services themselves, carrying and boosts are acceptable trades in WoW's economy. This in no way shape or form actually means that people are gonna be banned for those services, just if they have an account that only advertises.
Blame the people buying the boosts, not the boosters. What Blizzard here is extremely, extremely scummy but because it's about a Boosting service people don't give a %^&*, which is a shame.
I see no problem with this.
Ban all the booster sellers and advertisers. This plague has to stop.
