They should reduce range of Carrion Swarm so that if you stand at max range on ranged DPS it never hit you to begin with. Dodging it as melee should not be a problem, but as ranged it's impossible to dodge right now unless you stand in melee and standing in melee as ranged makes no sense...
Since Vampiric Claws is magic damage, pretty sure tanks can absorb most of the damage or maybe even dodge the hit completely? Maybe this little buff was needed.
Imagine being ranged dps and complaining about having to dodge mechanics, when throughout shadowlands and a few more expansions, the game has been anti-melee...
