Please DO NOT buff the ring to make it BiS. I don't want to engage with the system whatsoever and losing stats never, ever feels good for any of the classes I play.
We need less RNG. Getting 0 useful loot from the boss for all raid is bad. Nobody cares about problems of the 0.5% mythic WF guilds who endlessly moans about how they hate personal loot. Bring it back. And do something with the Vault too, because getting 2 necks and cloak/versality ring for two weeks straight is not fun either.
What do they mean for Ashbringer by "deliberately not available?"And what other items can we expect to never return to the game?
I find it really bad to lock items such as Corrupted Ashbringer and making others available, I don't know why you're becoming restrictive again after unlocking a bunch, makes no sense and it's just annoying for most of us really, it's not even a matter of prestige because it's just the people that could afford / are old enough that they played at that point in time
"They think that Season 4 in Shadowlands was successful and they are likely to do something similar at the end of Dragonflight. They're not sure if the Fated structure and affixes were necessary though and wants to hear discussion on that, as would just running the Grand Tour of all the expansion raids be better than just running Sepulcher for just three more months? The updates and reasons to revisit all raids with updated rewards felt like a nice alternative than just the final raid for several more months."The Fated Structure and Affixes were awesome as the last Tier of an expansion. They should IMPROVE AND GROW on the loot system in S4 Shadowlands though - no capped valor, gear vendor, raid upgrade tokens, catalyst open from the start, etc.
It's genuinely so sad how many people want this ring to be terrible. People really go so far to not engage with the game at all and then complain that there isn't enough content. Here's an item with a deliberate catchup system, that is easy to acquire, offers way more flavor than any other ring in the game, and yet apparently it's bad because it's better than some random $%^& you got from M+? Seriously? Genuinely hope Blizzard ignores these players.
soo if the old recruit a friend is being added to the trading post why not just add the new recruit a friend too? whats the point in doing it if u can just wait a year or 2 and then get it for free ...
"They do this where it makes sense to have bosses drop weapons or other things that are flavorful or themed"It's cool and everything but let's be honest, the bow made 0 sense from Raszageth. An elemental infused ancient dragon dropping a bow. GG
"Because Retribution is the only DPS option for Paladins, they want to make sure it's solid."Hey Ion, remember that you said this. Next, remember you have DH with only one dps spec. After that, remember how bad DH was for most of Shadowlands. Now, remember to apply the same logic when you apply tuning to DH. Last, don't listen to Dratnos or Tettles or Max and his community about DH (#max-nerfed-havoc-dh-nov-15-2022).
Exclusivity should always be a temporary thing. People earn stuff, they play the game and they get rewarded. They feel strong and cool and better than people who don't own the transmogs/mounts. But there comes a point in time were things get so outdated and noone really bats an eye on what has been super hype 10 years ago. And then those items just become insta locked for players who would like to have it, and idk but why would you not grant people their wish to have a nice transmog, even if it's a MoP class set (btw one of the nicest class fantasy ingame, who wouldn't wanna have that) or WoD Weapons. Also Legion Mage Tower Weapons were one of the biggest successes in the past WoW Years. Them being permanently locked is just minus content for everyone.
The ring doesn't have to be terrible, but it should not be significantly better than mythic raid rings. This is world content for more casual players to catch up and should not be mandatory for the highest difficulty.
