Just don't make all the characters you want long-term right away, save a couple classes for seasons. After the season they become permanent characters anyway.
I'm not playing seasons and neither is any of my guild.'Seasons' don't have anything to reset and is no different than you deleting your character. No Leaderboards to resetNo Paragon to reset (capped at 100)No Economy to reset (no trading)Nightmare Dungeons (rifts) capped at 100, no timer, you can't fail.I will NOT be playing seasons just for some random battlepass transmog.
well maybe if i want to try a different class i could do so (only) once each season, but i'm definitely NOT playing the same class several times. what a waste of time.
And it looks like you have to buy the battle pass... Remember when Seasons in diablo was free?
It seems bunch of people have issues understanding the difference between seasonal character and battle pass being tied to those characters - and no, Diablo aside from the Immortal did NOT have battlepass. So yeah, the complaint is very valid, actually.
Water is wet. This is the way.
I've played a little D3 and tbh D4 is nothing alike. You can get to max level very quickly in D3.. you can't do that in D4. All these people talking down to other players who are outraged by this fact just baffle me. It's like they're just doing it to incite more upset or anger when they already know that the grind on D4 is already crazy enough just on eternal realms right now.The grind to get uniques is even worse, especially as druids getting barb drops constantly... Then to see that all this time/investment to build a character that depends on uniques to function as well as other classes at high level/end game will be useless with seasons is really just stupid.I shouldn't have to spell out why it's a problem. Anyone with any sense of design comprehension can already see the issues with this before it's even lifted off.People are not asking for freebs or handouts, they're asking to be included with their mains like OTHER games with battlepasses tend to allow OR to have changes made such as exp gains substantially increased for seasonal characters among other decent suggestions I have seen.
