Thanks, it's a bit easier while we wait for a talent calculator
Good job Wowhead. Stay being the best ever, WoW is literally unplayable Garbage without you and your work.
Being able to get Skull Bash and Mighty Bash as a kitty resto druid is going to be awesome in M+, and DPS talents like Furor and Primal Wrath will also be really nice! Can't wait!
Talent calculator waiting room
so basicaly this is new UI for picking class spells you are balance druid, you gona choose your balance abilities from class tree and ure done. cos you have to. great again blizzard.being balance druid and picking maim etc. ofc you can do that, but your raid will instantly kick you.imagine putting improved mark of wild with bonus intelect into guardian path. or something like that so you can choose it and maybe give up on inervate. 100 percent balance druids gona go for inervate. otherwise ure trolling your raid. or ure feral so you can pick some balance points and get some really big thorns.
Why it have to be trees ? Restrain choices into path predetermined by the dev, removing some player agency.Back in the day, talent trees were even more boring than the current system. Revamping talent system is good, I had hope for a new system that give incentive to experimentation and player agency. But bringing back an old uniteresting system... I really wonder if it goes to the right direction :/.
pog
cant find a word for how underwhelming this is
So whats the point of above Primal Fury for feral? I hate the multi shape shifting during combat, so there really isn't a need for any of it. I'll just put points elsewhere I guess.Need to spec into soothe anyways I guess so the top would be lacara's teachings. That's it.
this *still* doesn't solve the problem of "you will play with this build in m+, and you will enjoy it!" - you kind of have to pick soothe/innervate and miss on something you like...i just want learnable spells in m+ so we aren't forced into picking cr, hero, tank, decurse/soothe, key holder, covenant master, melee interrupter and most op meta class... oh these are 8 not even 5..
As far as I can see, Affinities cease to exist for druids as such. It doesn't seem clear to me that my current druid default set-up of Balance with Guardian affinity is something that could be reasonably recreated through this new system. I confess I'm finding it hard to work out just how it would work in practice without having a calculator or demo version to fiddle with, but is that right? It would be harder to go for the pre-pack major/minor spec. approach that Affinity enables?
