I don't see why players hopping into layers they're not geared for is a behavior Blizzard has to correct. They don't correct it when players enter dungeons and raids that they're not prepared for.
Why is solo tanks and healers being dominant considered a problem that requires making it hard for them. Healers especially are basically required to play DPS to quest and solo efficiently and the one time solo content is actually worthwhile as a healer spec it's a problem?
finally!
Let's hope before reset.
Healers were dominant in Torghast ?
They gave Torghast a good ol fun scoop and now it just feels like The Maw. I was having so much fun and now i've actually stopped doing it.
Jeah, hopefully no more 95% useless Druid Powers cause such a big toolkit with spells... mostly not used. Or buffs for roots...
running these as a solo healer, they felt difficult and challenging, but still doable. Now it's basically not doable (without a lot of luck), popping multiple CDs on one or two trash mobs now. very frustrating and feels like blizz is forcing me to have to run with someone else.
why would they tie soul ash to a mechanic that is meant to be so challenging that many players will never be able to complete it?like, i enjoy the challenge and everything, but when im trying to get my weekly soul ash, its incredibly frustrating to have to accomplish a +15 equivalent dungeon, spend hours climbing floors methodically and carefully, only to get 1-shot by the final bossalso, im a rogue, so life especially sucks
Good, nothing like going for an hour to get to a boss that I can't interrupt quick enough and cheeses me thanks to my ONE interrupt as MM
I'm fine with this... I've always said if I can't do a layer then I'll go down one until I get some gear. I noticed a big difference with the layer 7 I did and it made me rethink if I should do layer 8. If those are the intended difficulties in the future then I know my limits.

I like the sound of those goals a lot, specially Goal #1. I don't mind it taking an hour to complete, but I intend to spend a lot of time in the Twisting Corridors when that open and if I can make more runs in a few hours that'd be great!
I have no issue with Torghast really. It should be hard at higher levels and players should not expect a "gimme" every time they go into and try.I have experienced the frustration of not being able to kill the last boss a few times. I know I am not geared enough yet for the higher levels. I know the RNG on anima powers plays a huge role in success. But that is part of the overall challenge - improve you character, your experience in understanding the mechanics and stacking the anima powers you are given, and come back with better gear.
What about that lie regarding it not being a timed event? Granted there is no hard timer but constantly being harrassed and torn to shreds by random "Torments" every few seconds out of combat is what's ruined this for me. Getting up to grab a soda quick between mobs just to find out I've been mauled to death by some OP trash with %50 extra health and damage was enough to piss me off. You can't say "take your time" but then literally rush people along by punishing them for not being in combat. Blizz found a way to ruin something that could have been fun and they did in spectacular time
