Hunters aren't even that good anymore after all the nerfs.So why making them even worse?
Actually why? They aren't even performing that crazy well anymore. Feels like the previous nerfs were already too hastey considering the pets wont scale as well in future phases. Take a closer look at warriors doing MC level damage instead.If anything they should make sure that pets get future world buffs like Ony Head/ZG/Dire Maul the same way they do with Boon since those buffs all favor melee so much more than ranged.

I've been playing two different level 25 Hunters now for a few lockouts, and while I could see the perspective where they'd want to remove World Buffs from Pets to make them dying less punishing, it wouldn't make much sense without adding it as an additional benefit to the already existing character buffs that "... also applies to any active Pet."Taking it away without giving something back to Hunters doesn't feel necessary at this point, they might still be the strongest entry-level dps with the bonus ability of being able to simultaneously tank with their Pet, but we're only a few weeks in and at least two other classes have already surpassed them with top performances. If anything I would've expected them to adjust something regarding Wind Serpents and PvP, but I doubt the experiences people have had dying to a single Pet has had much to do it benefiting from Boon of Blackfathom.

this is because 1 hunter could take down 3 people with eyes of the beast before people knew what was going on, while the hunter was never in danger.this is a good change, no way a PET, who is BUFFED to high kingdom, should be able to solo down a player in 3 gcds.

I really can't say that I'm too surprised. Blizzard has been suspiciously quiet lately; they hadn't nerfed hunters in a hot minute so I knew they were cooking yet another nerf up in the background.Nearly every complaint I've heard about hunters has been in regards to PvP. If they're overpowered in PvP, then the blatantly obvious solution is to scale them down in PvP. Why are we just nerfing these classes across the board? They've done nerfs specific to PvP and PvE for years, not sure what is hard for the dev team to comprehend about that lmfao.

A good change. Hunters are already the safest, easiest, fastest and most consistent class in the game. Healer ranged DPS and tank in 1 package while having essentially free and only phase 1 mount in the game. The amount pf people crying over hunter nerfs while their pets do 60% of their damage with a single rune is beyond absurd. Honestly praying they will be unviable in higher level content just off of how strong and disgusting they fell rn. There's a reason why all bots use hunters and there are probably the same amount of hunters than all other classes combined
i realize you guys fixing it something applying to pets its season of discovery but STILL CLASSIC soo i wonder when on WOTLK CLASSIC ICC buff WONT BE APPLIED TO PETS aswell? i mean remaining to pets AFTER BUFF IS TAKEN OFF.
It never has for me after i get off a FP and call out the pet it always went away
