The human chest piece has that stupid %^&* they are so fond of doing the last few years, where something is hanging over where the tabard would go, blocking the tabard from being seen. I hate that. Stop doing it.
Do the boots really clip through the robe/skirt on the human one? That seems like a glaring oversight.
Thematic armor design peaked in Legion. Steep downhill from there.
Can we talk about how amazing the orc set is for a second? You can't see it in these images, but the chestpiece underneath the shoulders has 3d fur on it that wraps around the shoulders! Just like thrall in BFA. It looks wonderful!
Incredible!
Real missed opportunity attaching the orcish fur kilt to the legs instead of the belt for mix and match. The human armor gets more laughable every time I see it....
The Blizzard armor/fashion design team deserves a round of applause. Both heritage armor sets look excellent. I will go so far to say that there are at least two changes I would make with the Wolf's Heritage Set for the orcs. The first is that I would swap the pauldrons so the one with the worg skull would be on the left shoulder. The other issue is that I can't help noticing the spike attached to the right side of the chest. If someone the orc cared about tried to embrace them or the orc wearing the armor did the embracing somebody could be unintentionally impaled in the chest. My two critiques aside, the Wolf's Heritage Set still looks incredible! I can easily imagine Go'el/Thrall's wife Aggra wearing a blue or red version of this armor as High Matriarch of the Nation of Durotar and Lady of the Orc Clans. It would also be something to see Durak and Rehze wearing red or blue versions of this armor set when they come of age as the respective Prince and Princess of the Orc Clans and Heirs to the leadership of the Nation of Durotar. All four of them posing together in armor would be an amazing family portrait! The picture could also include Go'el's sister Geya'rah in her Mag'har Heritage Armor to represent the united leadership of both the Nation of Durotar and the Mag'har Clans.
These do look great, it's the first thing I'll do after I've checked out the new ret paladin. I just wish there were more recolours and variants for the other heritage sets.
I really like the human heritage armor! Having the option of pants or robe is also very nice!
Human RED really does looks like Stromguard gear!Need only tabard and shield with Stromguard icon!
Love the mail details on human heritage pieces. The pants look a bit low-res though.Orc heritage looks pretty much like maghar heritage. Which makes sense ofc, as both races are orcish, but still feels like nothing new.
The leather/mail part of the chest piece not being 3d is such a missed opportunity. I honestly don't want to see full bodypaint chest pieces ever again
Can other races/factions wear heritage armor that doesn't belong to them if earned? Like if I get the orc heritage armor can I mog it onto a gnome? Thanks.
The worst sets I've seen in a while.
Why didn't they include that cool wolf pelt helm/cloak that the frostwolves wear in WoD? This was the perfect opportunity to finally give it to us and would fit some the caster classes better (especially shaman!)
