"Shadowlands" Is that something new? I dont remember seeing it anywhere in any kind of lore in wow. And i read a lot about it. Someone here who knows more?
I love the new dragon model Nithogg has, well as the reference. Maybe a Storm Drake mount will drop from him! And I like the idea of fishing dailies showing up on the map. It gives me something to do when I'm out and about. Onto the World of Warcraft: Chronicle. I've always been a huge fan of Warcraft lore. I'm happy that this book will clarify a lot of different things from the start. The preview of the map is also great, showing how the world looked before the Great Sundering and where specific locations were. Lastly, the Cosmic Forces preview is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully there will be more previews in the future. Thanks for sharing it as always!
Nithogg is a dragon/serpent from norse mythology.
Im normally not one to buy merchandise, but that book... And the price is great, i mean I spend more on a typical tuesday night than that
"We ALL start as Trolls - but as SUB-RACES of trolls."Hate to burst your bubble, but no. Dwarves, gnomes, and humans are all a result of the curse of the flesh that was introduced by the old gods to the titan constructs. Trolls, Tauren and Night elves are really the only 3 playable races that actually evolved on Azeroth. Well and Blood Elves, since they were night elves that moved up north to the sunwell. As for Taurens, it is still unclear how they were made.
Just wanted to say, in the sample of the Chronicles book, the trolls were trying to resurrect Lei Shen to fight the pandaren. The fight with the Aqir was something else entirely.
Primordial Azeroth makes me think of the Zerg (with in the background a overmind-like being) and Ancient Kalimdor resembles the Protoss. (I know it may just be the color scheme, but still :o)The books looks very nice!
Guys about warcraft chronicle. I want to buy this book but i saw another world of warcraft crhronicle vol 1 and it was released in november 2015.I am confused because they are the same and i dont know which to buy plz help me
I can't wait 'til that book is published! I've read the original story of creation that Blizzard once had on their official site and I was worried that it was lost forever when they replaced it with the timeline of the games, patches and stuff. Fortunately, I read it on wowwiki a couple of times but it's just not the same..
The teaser text could really use some proofreading
Grabby hands at the nightborne clothing, grabby hands I sez!In other news, yay to another reference to Norse mythology because who doesn't like that sort of thing? =D And that book looks AMAZING. It will have to be added to my piles of books. I like that they're finally sitting down and solidifying the lore...it makes it difficult sometimes to talk lore with someone beyond the basics and it's a pain trying to figure out where a toon's back story starts out and when. Here's hoping there's a concrete timeline they settle on, too...it's changed a couple of times over the years. Blah. There's one now, more or less, but it'd be nice if it was an updated, final version, rather than a wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey mess of inexact year markers.
The hardcover book looks amazing, will be a nice addition to our fantasy library at home. Can't wait for it to get here.
Wow, amazing arts!
