Its on PTR...obv take anything that is posted about 9.1 with a grain of salt.
All 4 professions mentioned can craft legendaries. Even if you can't use the item itself, the crafters can upgrade the item and then u can use it on any toon.
Why does Blacksmithing need 20 of the BoP mat and the other three only need 1.
It's BoP because it's a crafting reagent. The idea is for crafters to create higher ilvl versions of base items to make money selling them, exactly like we have now. The difference is Blizzard is adding an optional reagent rather than (potentially) new recipe levels.Unfortunately, this screws over gatherers since it doesn't create a massive influx of demand for mats but it does have the benefit of keeping prices from skyrocketing for players who don't make their own stuff.
Cause it's added when crafting the lego, not to your existing. You'll still have to buy higher ilvl base pieces just like you do now.
I'm assuming that the crafter makes this piece, then applies it to the base legendary white piece, so that the new Base piece can then be posted to sell.So you make the 225 Base rank 4 item (white, non legendary). But if you add this while making it, then that piece becomes 235 or something so that they can post that.People - y'all panicking for nothing. This isn't something you need on it's own to upgrade your legendary item. You'll need the 260Ilevel Base white item to uprade your legendary most likely, and this BOP item is made by the same crafters that make the base white item so they can make you that 260 white item.
Overall, SL has just a fantastic leveling experience and the launch was off the chart, imo. But, I think the thing that killed SL for me was the early days of Torghast, I know for me it was such an unpleasant experience that all of the ill-feelings of BfA came rushing in and I haven't been able to rekindle to the fire. Now, with the legendary profession start and progression into 9.1, it feels very much like they just went right back to Legion's end of expansion model and revamped it for SL. I've never been a big fan of "Legendary" items. I feel like the lines between Diablo and WoW are bleeding into each other way to much. To me, I like when I get a really massive and cool piece of Epic/Purple gear and it came from an outstanding kill or event. Now, even Legendary items seem lackluster and lame because everyone is going after or getting the same thing. I also liked when only a certain class was picked in an expansion to get a lengendary like the Rogue - Fangs of the Father or the Mage with the Staff.I've said this before, I think the breakdown for me started when Chris Metzen left and Ion took over, I think WOW is hemorrhaging its reputation and fame.
All I wanna know is if it will carry on our current legos and not just throw all our months of farming soul ash into the garbage.
just enable equipping a 2nd legendary. raising the limit takes literally seconds for them and everyone would be happy
Yeah this is a continuation of the Crafters Mark thing I guess.. which, even though multiple professions can make them, they are BoP. Which sucks. I made some on my main blacksmith to send to my alt tailor to upgrade their gear when they hit 60 and yeah you can't do that.
Increases the item level of the BASE item . You’re still getting what you need for your chosen legendary. Not hard to figure out.
I wonder if you can just craft the tier 1 leggo base (190) and add this to get it's full effect, otherwise people coming back or only just now wanting to craft leggos have got a lot of material wasting to do lmao.Like I personally think I'd prefer that too even as someone who has max rank unlocked, just make these optional reagents require more mats and let me craft the cheaper base items, and it also helps for 'catch up' for other crafters, too
So... a nice middle finger to everyone who bothered to level up their legendary base items?
