I can't believe I'm saying this - I really can't - but Steve Danuser has been doing really great in these interviews. Shadowlands questions are still painfully awkward (and the only ones where I question the "whole truth" of the answers) but I don't think there's anything that can be done about that. Hiru of course did a great job, because he is great.
Oh man Hiru's great! Love to see him get the opportunity to talk lore like this.
Love every video that Hiru does, hopefully we can see more like this!
Good interview. Danuser's reign is going well so far I'd say.Loved hearing he did the new N'Zoth whispers himself and that there's truth to the speculations. I wish I could just talk with him on lore for hours.
Put that way, all those highlights are saying:- A threat outside of the known cosmic powers is coming (probably more than one expansion away);- Nozdormu does not have to become Murozond (and probably won't);- Infinite Dragonflight is probably change their ways (maybe even join the Bronze Dragonflight in their task?);- Maybe some story split on the next expansion, who knows? (Danuser does);- Won't comment on this one as I didn't pay attention to the story in Maldraxxus;- Still waiting but maybe its time is coming soon. Maybe;- After all, Hearthstone is not canon, just a game inside a game;- The implications are that N'zoth recognized us and adjusted his whispers for our time frame. We will go underground after Iridikron, he will release the waters that were corrupting the protodrakes before Tyr cleansed the spring and we will have eyes and tentacles growing out of protrodragons and... Okay, this one implies a lot, lets not get too excited already;- More cool mechanics expected but, also, more story content. Soon...TM;- Look, player direct influence in an MMO game's story only happens if said game is a sandbox, and the story is already fully in the players' hands.Btw, only read the highlights. If the interview had been fully on Old Gods only, I'd have watched/listened.
