Also good to note that it defaults to Attack ping when done on an enemy.
Do the pings last indefinitely like world markers? I sort of feel like these should only last seconds before disappearing, and maybe make a sound effect to the party/raid.
Honestly a game changer. Don't even need to be more verbose than they are here, just the functionality itself is going to change everything.
Nobody wanted this! Just why?
best feature added to the game since probably M+, encounters in wow often are completly unintuitive and require weakaura's or other ways off infomration processing like bigwigs. Now your raid leader or pug tank can just marks an safe spot or location without even requiring to speak in discord or use even worse methods like ingamechat
How do they interact with other effects in the world? Do they have good visibility if they get put in between all kinds of enemies, swirlies and fires or can they be hidden by mobs and other effects?
Looks great. Animation, sounds, design and cooldown circle - all look very good.
This is huge!Absolutely love it!
This change is incredible usefull !I think each ping should have a different sound like we have in Lost Ark & League of Legends,To easily differentiate them in the middle of a fight
Pretty good! I just kind of wish they looked more in line with WoW's artstyle. The current icons look too modern/ not really "fantasy" style imo - it almost looks like its from elvui
Would love it if they gave each of the pings a unique sound. The visual looks very clear but some extra clarity from a unique sound as well could be very nice.
Really going to help with fights like Kazzara on heroic or higher difficulties (more on mythic) which require a lot of coordination. Quick pings when you've got to drop a puddle, or are headed to a certain location to handle a mechanic will make the harder content much faster to communicate without clogging voice comms.I'm curious how mods like DBM and Big Wigs will utilize those. It could automatically trigger a ping call-out for a priority target or interrupt. It'll definitely be interesting to see how this affects gameplay. I expect it'll mostly be beneficial.
