Death Sentence is not a brand new mechanic. It's Wrack. From Sinestra. WrackWho conveniently, was a dragon....hmmm, Dragon expac confirmed?
I don't know if the information is already out there, but does dying with Death Sentence also count as "removal", i.e. spawning 2 dark energy swirlies? If not, sacrificing the first player to get Death Sentence would extend the soft enrage by 30s each time, making battle res in P4 a super valuable tool and putting even more pressure on all previous phases.
If u read carefully; it says that after 30 sec the player dies and spawn a dark wave at nearby locations Theres a plural of locations indicating that even if u die it will spawn more then one. So we can assume removal means removal of any kind. Natural or forced
For all the complaining about how badly the lore and the jailor was for the entire xpack, this fight shows him as the beast blizz wanted him to be. I applaud the effort blizzard has required of these players to be the best in the world.
And to whoever said that Mythic is not gated off, you're obviously in the minority pool and you have no idea what you're talking about, so please don't.If getting into a mythic group was about being "friendly" and "social' nobody would be complaining mate. (And the irony of that statement made me laugh so hard I cried).
I hope blizz will keep doing those kind of secret phase, i don't do mythic raid anymore cause the mindset of most of the mythic raider community is realy toxic but i enjoyed watching echoes doing this. And the problem with Mythic Raiding for most people is not the difficulty of those raid, it's really the mindset of people doing it, just look at how many guild disband during progress, those guys are too toxic.
There's 8 guilds on Jailer rn but lets just continue to talk about 2 of them.
I don't imagine a significant number of people quit WoW because a Mythic raid exists. Besides, it's not like these resources would have went anywhere else. It's tuned around a World First environment, setting a challenge for people to overcome. Then gradually it gets nerfed a bit while still being a challenge to most players. If they didn't do this, then... That's it. That's all that would happen. It either exists or it doesn't. There's no fantasy where Devs don't tune Mythic raiding and instead they pulled another dungeon out of nowhere. That's not how resource allocation works at all."I don't like that this is a thing" Then don't do that thing. Nothing wrong with clearing Heroic.
Congratulations to them all! Amazing amount of skill, dedication, and perseverance required to do what they managed to do - and a gorgeous mount as a reward (I can see people on their realm lining up their virtual wallets for that carry already). Thank you for making such entertaining, and at times seat-gripping, content.
