I’ll believe when i see it. Also, when they leave idea about adding wings to the game. Diablo 2 looks cool, because you look like druid/barbarian, actual hero, not like angel, demon or i have no idea what.
"I have a Dream"... Morpheus smirks*
What a relief!
Sounds like trash typical Blizzard lies, and there's a @#$%ing battle pass anyway what a waste of a good game. Believe the p2win when it's out for a little while. I'll give it a few weeks before I even consider purchasing it (Probably won't, nobody cares about Diablo anymore). Knowing Blizzard in the last 5 years it will be throwing away money.
they said the same exact thing about diablo immortal untill we realized you can just pay to get gems. I'm fine with pay for cosmetics, fine. But they murdered diablo immortal so they can get that sweet whale money and i expect them to do the same for d4
Not at all surprised. I was really looking forward to Diablo IV as I am a big D3 fan, but as soon as I read "battle-pass like Hearthstone", I immediately lost most of my interest in the game.
Welp, I guess naysayers can stop $%^&*ing about Diablo iv being pay2win now.
"can't buy player power"Yeah... someone also said that about Diablo Immoral. In the end, you can buy a currency that will let you acquire more power in the form of gems. And they're basically monetizing it like a free to play game, but you need to pay a premium price to actually play the game.Usually games that you have to pay the full price or a sub to play, there is no "premium tiers" for their seasons. Only free 2 play players need to buy the "premium tier".
Yep, surely Blizzard will offer great in-game skins and trasmogs. Surely they will do what's best for their players, against their clear financial interest in doing the opposite to make them buy from the store. Because they are such an excellent, moral company with such respect for their playerbase and IPs..This game is doomed.
I really really do not care if it is pay to win, this monetization of games is *!@#ing insane. You guys think this is ok lol, back in my day we went to school in 3 feet of snow up hill both ways, and we paid one price for our game, for the whole game. Not 60 bucks, then nickel and dimed for dresses. Holy *!@#.
#fornowHonestly. the systems are set up, what keeps them from selling xp boosts in the future? Why do you even need xp boosts in a diablo game. I mean seriously. It is supposed to be a "grim, gory and dark world" and then you can use a thing that lets you progress faster. Wow... that world must really be rough and heroes really have to work for any accomplishment.I would say a well balanced game does not need xp boosts. A game that you enjoy playing and love spending time in does not need speeding up in the boring parts. This is just troubling me. I knew we weren't getting a Diablo 2 in new and better. But also I don't understand why everything needs some season pass progress. Offer a seasonal Cosmetic item and be done with it. No need to progress. Your good game should be incentive enough. Achieving kills on bosses or greater rifts or whatever else game mechanics you have should be the achievement you work for - and maybe even achievements. But not getting the next 2 hour xp boost so you can level faster in all the boring areas or just farm a cheesy strat over and over again. Like T6 box opening was in D3 or like farming the blacksmiths wife.Sorry but a good game does not need a season pass like this. Only a mediocre or bad game needs a season pass like this.
