I will be completly fair:Graphics - awesome.Mechanicly it looks decent too. There is STRONG BUT:As far as i understood there is no ultra-rare uniques like in D2(griffon and etc for example) and there are heavy restricted trade. And they gave you "easy access for the builds", so it means that you can literally build your character within 10hours, like in D3.Let's be fair - as a GAME -it's garbage Diablo 3 again. So probably as an ARPG game - it will be bad.As a huge fan of Diablo i am so dissapointed that i even considering should i buy this?
Game looks so good. Especially the art style.
I'll decide for myself when it comes out but man does this read like Blizzard wrote it for you.
I am really excited for it and pray it will be good, i need a good D4 so badly now... sad its most likely half a year to release...
Trade is completely irrelevant to me, does nothing to me that its restricted. Far less worries of scammers and botters. Good riddance.
Beatiful, great artstyle and sound desing, no free trade : the game is very promising. But itemisation is bland and nonincentive, I'm not sure they'll have tome to make it good. I really hope it won't be like D3 where we had to wait for the expansion for the game to become great !
It's not a big deal at all, but the map is definitely more Rockstar than Diablo. I feel like even Far Cry's map would fit better for Diablo than this one. But again, doesn't mean much outside of matching aesthetics across the board.
Im hyped, where can i pre-order? I pray for an open beta, would be amazing.
The thing that concerns me most is the fact that it took you 5-10 hours to get to level 25. When you will be able to get to level 100, this seems EXCESSIVE. It took me less than 10 hours to level from 60-70 in wow. If diablo takes 2x-4x longer that that, I will be very upset.
Looks like D4 is turning into a World of Warcraft experience... Lets hope I can fish there too!
"Blizzard has stated multiple times that story in Diablo IV will play a much bigger role compared to its predecessors."We have nothing concise planned and are winging it. Whatever it ends up being we are going to pretend we have been planning for the last 5+ years.
looks like &*!@ 👍
All of these articles are making me a bit sad and angry, I was part of the closed beta for endgame and there is so many many many things wrong with the current endgame, I've reported a ton of it to Blizzard as well as the bugs present in the hopes they could improve it, I just don't believe they have enough time or resources now to fix it though. The entire loot system feels poor, legendaries are largely uninspired pieces with a bunch of random stats + whatever legendary affix is attached, you quickly end up knowing the entire selection of legendaries available to your chosen class and while a very few of them can create diversity in the builds most of them simply don't, and are more reminiscent of what your runes mightve previously done in D3.To add to the loot issue, once you hit certain levels the items stop scaling, instead you need to rely on sacred and ancient item procs, this applies to legendaries as well, and its just as *!@# as you can imagine it, item didnt proc to support your level? That legendary goes straight in the bin as you cant extract the power and apply it to a higher item you find, they are locked to their level and below. In terms of paragon boards, it's really just boards filled with primary stats and a few hub areas where something like resistance or dmg vulnerability might be, as well as a possible socket for the paragon glyphs, which the best comparison is that they are legendary gems you level through nightmare dungeons. Calling them fun, inspired or meaningful content is a huge misleading statement, they are extremely bland and largely feels like youre just pissing in the ocean. The whole overworld is more akin to games such as destiny at this point, travel around and do random tasks after completing enough and gaining enough whispers for the tree, you return to it and get to select between 3 boxes labeled with a given item type, i.e hands and usually contains a legendary. You then repeat this process until you run out of whispers on the map. It gets old, fast. One of my final own person pet peeves is the hellfire tide events, every so often a zone will be invaded by a hellfire tide, fire rains from the skies and mobs in it drop a few currency and reagents you need, the currency is to open chests in the zone that always contains 1 legendary. The reagent is used for several things such as upgrading and enchanting, which you get 1-3 of if you spend the entire hour the event is live there, mostly just stumbling randomly around and hoping to find mobs or the tedious events. While the event in closed beta was garbage and honestly a complete waste of time except for the fact youre required to do it, and it locks your progress if you dont, at least this is something blizz can potentially improve. With all this being said, the one positive i did experience was the world bosses felt fun and interesting, they added a little extra to it that i approve of.I only post now because its been bothering me how hard they are trying to sell some of the features in the game, sadly most of them were just really uninspired and feel completely undercooked. The game is in a bad state for end game.Did 70 rogue 90 sorc and a 60 barb during the closed beta
