Is it complicated? No.Is it complex? Unnecessarily so, imo.Complexity isn't good just for complexity's sake. I'd rather have fewer, more meaningful and more well balanced options competing with each other, than whole boards bloated with basic stat increases with the occasional interesting point we actually want to reach.Raw stat increases from higher difficulty gear and higher paragon levels is already a good ever-increasing power progression that rewards time investment. Boring nodes like plus 5 strength are giving me vanilla wow talent tree flashbacks not in a good way (spend 5 points to get 1 extra strength each, whole trees being dead because the other one is much better, etc). Even the conduit and soulbind system was more exciting despite being weird as hell, and the new talent trees are a much better mix of the limited MoP pick-one-out-of-three talents and the unbalanced drag of the vanilla ones. This may be an unpopular take, but this just looks like a sad and contrived band-aid to remedy the ultra basic D4 talent trees... I'd prefer it if they made one balanced and interesting talent system not two meh ones.
Let's see what we can clear up here...
if people are complaining about this being too complicated they'd be terrified of Path of Exile
Can you upgrade glyphs once they have been socketed? Or should we wait till we max them out before socketing them?
