Quite digging Calia here.
How is the lady with perfect skin even close to being forsaken? She was risen at the hands of the alliance king and spent the entire BFA expansion being best buds with Jaina and the alliance. Then she waltzes in saying that oh, she ACTUALLY really feels sympathy for the forsaken after all despite hiding away with the priest order hall until legion and then chilling with the literal opposite faction for a whole expansion. I don't think there are many forsaken players who want her to be their faction leader
really digging these higher quality in game cutscenes. quality on them has really taken a big leap.
Eh, not bad. Also great to see more Lillian Voss, and addressing her own past.I know people hate Calia, but it feels like they're just trying to skip ahead in her story. It's like skipping to the end of the Lord of the Rings and going "WTF, Aragorn becomes King? He's just a lone ranger!" Yeah. You've not read the three book story that justifies it, so of course you hate it.We don't know where Calia's story goes. She may just be here to give the Forsaken a version of the Light that won't harm them, thus giving us Forsaken Paladins in the future.Maybe she does end up Queen. Who knows? And frankly, who cares, before we know the journey there?
ok that storyline was quite good, a council is I see so this that's cool
I love how everyone concerned with her are people who aren't exactly in a position to be skeptical
"Necromancy is necromancy" translates to "We know the idea of a Light-based undead creature is pure bullsh*t, but we're going to force her on you anyway." By that logic, Light-based necromancy (and boy does that hurt to say) should be okay among the Light-loving races, but I somehow don't see it catching on. I just want to know how to kick this questline off so I can get the customization. Not interested in Calia's sparkleglurge otherwise.
Blizzard: We're sorry for the bad writing and SL lore! Also Blizzard: Here, have more poorly written stories lol I give up on WoW lore team, I think they don't even read the wowpedia.....
I guess the Undercity is all cleared of the plague now? Looks like Teldrassil and Undercity are coming back.
This makes quite a bit more sense if you've read before the storm. One of the main points of the book is that the forsaken and their living relatives really don't care about who's what faction. Somewhat fitting for her to return to undercity in the cross faction patch.
Where in the quest chain is this? I did the quests, cleaned up Lordaeron & delivered the message to Genn, but didn't get this cinematic.
At least Belmont still acts somewhat like a Forsaken, shame his lines are probably being thrown in as a token offering to people who used to like the race before the bizarre direction Blizzard decided to take them.
Belmont is right
I think that as the Forsaken have lost the old battle axe and might gain a new softer one... perhaps they need a new name and battle standard? Vexiologists need to get on part of this, but I do have a potential new moniker for this mixed group of undead... The Renewed.
