Wow, expected the Vile Fiend to be about the same size as the hound. That definitely makes it a more interesting mount.
Epic news. The mounts are damn awesome. I am also looking forward that the new zone to be the savior of legion, at least from my point of view.
Holy, this is creepy and awesome as *!@# :D BUT i would like to see any other model than the gryphon. doesnt look fitting in my eyes :)
Ironically, Ur'zul seems to have gryphon movement animation/skeleton.
Riding on tormented bodies and souls of fallen members of the Army of the Light... in style!Don't worry, those mounts were all made only from members of the Army of the Light that signed their "If I die, make me into cool mount" forms.
Not too keen on the bone wings, they just don't fit. I would've preferred the Ur'sul being a ground mount. Still, I want the mount.
I WANT THE KHADGAR VERSION.
I really hope that we get some WoD Style Rare Mobs that drop Mounts for the entire Raid Group, these two would be perfect for that. Legion has been a Nightmare for Mount Collectors.Forming the Mount Groups back in WoD was a lot of fun because of the Social Aspect it had.
I wish the fiends would be bipeds insead of quadrupeds.
That Ur'zul thing..... it's just disgusting. This'll be one of those mounts, depending on how easy it is to get, will be filling up my mount counter and nothing else. You guys can all have it.
They definitely shouldn't have used the gryphon animations, or the skeletal gryphon wings. Maybe something a bit more meaty. And since it's corrupted, a movement style or little more demented. It still looks bad ass though. Kudos' on the art style!
Actually it seems to be using the imperial quilen animation frame.
Loving the Shackled Ur'zul. I can see my night elf hunter ride around on that. Hopefully I can get it!
Need that Zepplin mount! At 493 tickets right now. :(
That thing is so gross... I must have it. ;_;Digging on that second mount for sure though. Love its run animation.
Still hoping for a Sapphire Storm Drake.
The Imperial Quilen uses the same animations as the standard gryphon mount from TBC. The fact that the ur'zul uses the same wings as the Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade shows that the animations are identical to the gryphon. Not a mount I ever intend to use. It'd just be one for my mount count and then put out to pasture to collect dust never to be ridden. Personally, I find it disgraceful to ride a creature made of fallen members of our own army. While you can look at it as giving them a second change to join in the battle, they would have been better used as ghouls by the DKs. A mount just carries you around and can't help otherwise. At least a ghoul can battle at your side and give its undead life for yours. Having a mount that is the tormented souls of fellow soldiers who once fought at your side is horrifying. If anything, you'd think we'd be trying to release them from their torment, but increasing their torment by telling them they have to haul us around doing menial tasks. All we're doing by using it as a mount is increasing their torment further. It'd be like if we decided to use a soul engine to blow up various Legion ships. We should be freeing the tormented, not using them for our own gains.I also find the mount rather terrible in that you're sitting on the rump which makes it look rather small. Sitting on the rump would be rather awkward and would potentially limit the movement of the mount (realistically speaking).I've really been questioning where Blizzard's mentality has been the last few years. They're really into cruelty lately it seems. First it was animal cruelty. Now they're into cruelty of everyone else.
