Today's Official Xbox Podcast gave us a devilish treat - Diablo Game Director Rod Fergusson joined to discuss the console features for Diablo IV!
Some great information about Diablo IV came out of this podcast - everything from the Open Beta to the gameplay specs for the Xbox X and S were discussed, which we've summarized below:
Over 62 million hours of gameplay were completed during the Early Access and Open Beta weekends
The Xbox X will run Diablo IV in 4k with 60fps
The Xbox S will run Diablo IV in full HD 60fps
There were some difficulties bringing the typical click to move ARPG-style gameplay to direct movement on consoles
Cross-Play and Cross-Progression allow players to play with their friends no matter the platform, as well as allowing players to seamlessly change platforms and keep their progression - play how you want, where you want!

The console version of Diablo IV wasn't the only thing on the menu - Blizzard also released an Open Beta Retrospective Blog, which was referenced with changes based off player feedback during the Early Access and Open Beta Weekends!
