How to Unlock World Tier 3 in Diablo 4
After finishing the campaign, your first goal should be to unlock Nightmare difficulty, better known as
World Tier 3
. Playing in WT3 rewards players with more experience and better loot in the form of Sacred items and Uniques. To achieve that, players need to finish the campaign and complete the game's first so-called
Capstone Dungeon
, Cathedral of Light. All monsters in this dungeon are Level 50, so make sure to be somewhere around Level 50 before your first try at cleansing this holy house!
The Cathedral of Light lies just north of Kyovashad and can pose quite a challenge for both solo players and groups, so make sure to check out our Capstone Dungeon Guide!

Best Way to Level Up in Diablo 4
If you can't complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon, you might want to go back to dungeon-leveling to get all your skillpoints and better gear. Currently, the
Champion's Demise
dungeon is the best way to level quickly for solo players and groups. Visit our Champion's Demise Dungeon Guide to learn how to properly run and reset the dungeon. Oh, and don't forget: Running Champion's Demise on World Tier 3 and 4 is the fastest way to power-level to Level 100 right now!

Get to Renown Level 3 in Every Diablo 4 Zone
Another way to further boost your character power is by getting all Skill Points associated with the
Renown
system. The system rewards players with skill points after unlocking Renown Level 1 and 3 of each region, so a total of
10 skill points
can be earned through Renown. To quickly get to Renown Level 3 after the campaign, all you should have to do are a couple of Side Quests or Region Map Discoveries by traveling through the five regions of Sanctuary. Also remember that Renown Skill Points are available account-wide!

We just released a guide of exact locations for every
Altar of Lilith that rewards a Paragon Point
. The Paragon Board system is the most important character progression system, so collect all 4 points as early as possible to benefit from damage and defense boosts provided by paragon nodes and glyphs!

Complete Helltides in Diablo 4
Like Legion invasions in WoW, Helltides are 1-hour-long end-game world events with one 1-hour cooldown that can happen all over Sanctuary. Your overall goal should be to collect as many Aberrant Cinders as possible so you can open as many Helltide chests as possible. No worries, you will keep your Cinders when you port or run out of a Helltide zones - however, you will lose half of them if you die within a Helltide zone!
While offering decent experience gains, Helltides are also the only source of
遗忘之魂
s, the crafting material needed to upgrade and reroll Sacred and Ancestral items - that is why you should start participating immediately!
Prime sources for
遗忘之魂
s are the
Mystery Chests
that spawn during a Helltide event. They cost the most Aberrant Cinders to open but also contain the most materials and legendaries. We've created a map with all currently known Mystery Chest locations - check it out below!

Tree of Whispers, Nightmare Dungeons, and Glyph Upgrades in Diablo 4
After a short introductory quest, you get access to the
Tree of Whispers
mission system. After completing a certain amount of missions, you will be rewarded with a chest full of items and sometimes even
Nightmare Sigils
. After activation, these sigils turn dungeons into Nightmare dungeons by increasing monster level and adding helpful and dangerous affixes alike.
After completing a Nightmare dungeon, you will be able to
upgrade
one of your
Paragon Glyphs
. Once a glyph reaches the next level, its stats and sometimes even the glyph radius increase, which will then affect more paragon nodes in said radius! Check out our Diablo 4 Class Guides via the class overviews to get a first idea of which glyphs your build might use!
Barbarian Class Overview Druid Class Overview Necromancer Class Overview Rogue Class Overview Sorcerer Class Overview
Starting at Tier 1, monsters in a Nightmare dungeon will be Level 50, up to Level 150 at Sigil Tier 100. And if that wasn't enough already, affixes like Blood Blister will turn your dungeon experience into quite the literal nightmare if you ignore them - so make sure to check out our Dungeon Affixes Guide to learn more about the potential dangers of Nightmare Dungeons!
