In non-Legion news, we have 6.2.3 hotfixes for the Shipyard, an overview of upcoming in-game events for December 2015, and recent blue tweets.
Some of the important Shipyard updates in testing are:
Rare naval missions should now appear more frequently.

Naval blockade missions now have a shorter duration of 30 minutes (down from 4 hours), reduced
Oil

Acquiring and Spending Valor on 6.2.3 PTR, Requests for Legion Q&A, Blizzard's Pumpkin Contest
Blizzard clarified on Twitter today that there will
not
be a hard weekly cap on acquiring
Valor
in 6.2.3. Do note that this is a
different currency
than the Valor Points in Mists of Pandaria which had a hard cap.
We've reviewed the ways to acquire and spend
Valor
on the PTR, including how many times you can run an activity per week. Do note that amounts are preliminary and subject to change.
Acquiring Valor
There are four ways to get
Valor
:
0
Valor
: First heroic Warlords dungeon of the day (
LFGDungeons - Draenor - Heroic Random - 1st
). Awards up to 0
Valor
per week if done daily.
0
Valor
: Completing each Mythic dungeon for the first time each week. Awards up to 0
Valor
per week if all eight are completed.
0
Valor
: Completing the weekly bonus quest (pets excluded).
0
Valor
: Completing a wing of Hellfire CItadel LFR (
LFGDungeons - Draenor 6.2 - Raid Finder - 1st
) for the first time a week, there are 5 wings total. 0
Valor
if all five wings are completed.
5
Valor
: Completing a wing of Highmaul or Foundry LFR (
LFGDungeons - Draenor - Raid Finder - 1st
) for the first time a week. There are 3 Highmaul wings and 4 Blackrock Foundry wings. 5
Valor
if all seven wings are completed.
The maximum you could acquire per week is 700 from Heroic Dungeons + 2400 from Mythic Dungeons + 500 from event + 750 from Hellfire LFR + 525 from Highmaul/Foundry LFR = 4875.
Wowhead Weekly #55: Wowhead Party, BlizzCon Merch Review, 6.2.3 PTR, Pepe; New Terky Murloc Pet
Edit: We've also added details on
Terky
, a new murloc pet players discovered in-game that you can get right now!
New Murloc Pet Available
Terky
is a new murloc pet players can get in game on
live servers
right now. We've previously noticed her in the data and
speculated on Terky's source in our 6.2.2 Battle Pet Post
, but she's been hidden until now.
Several users have reported today they've found the
White Murloc Egg
in a cave in Borean Tundra, in a marine cave at the Riplash Ruins. This egg hatches into
Terky
. Finding the cave is a bit difficult, so check the pet pages for more details and screenshots of the cave. Also be nice and don't stand on top of the egg once you've looted it!
This is a big deal because most murlocs in this style are currently unobtainable or very expensive to acquire. Formerly
Terky
was only available as part of an iCoke Taiwan promotion.

Dungeon and Raid Updates
New Mythic Dungeon trinkets, which scale to lvl 110 for Legion:
Judgment of the Naaru
,
Gronntooth War Horn
,
Orb of Voidsight
,
Infallible Tracking Charm
,
Purified Shard of the Third Moon
. These can be purchased from Savage Flaskataur on the PTR for testing. All of these trinkets have an extra bonus when fighting Demons.
Remnant of Chaos
: This is the item from Heroic or Mythic Archimonde that starts the quest for
Reins of the Grove Warden
.
Shadow of the Defiler
: This is the first quest in the series to go to Moonglade. "Consult the keepers of Moonglade to see if they can shed any light on the nature of the Remnant of Chaos."
More information:
For a limited time, defeating Archimonde on Heroic difficulty or higher will reward players with a mysterious fragment of dark power that begins a quest. When you bring this fragment to the druids of Moonglade, you’ll learn a little more about what’s in store for Azeroth, and the druids will give you a majestic Grove Warden mount in thanks for your efforts. This quest won’t be available forever—our current plan is to retire the quest in an update some time before Legion’s launch, so grab some friends and head to Hellfire Citadel while you can.
Reins of the Grove Warden
previously listed the In-Game Shop on the tooltip; it's been updated to reflect the Archimonde questline.
Valor Points
Valor
is back and it's treated as a separate currency from the Mists of Pandaria
Valor Points
. There is no weekly cap listed yet, and we know some of the ways to acquire Valor.
The rewards for completing a random dungeon on the 6.2.3 PTR include 100 Valor Points (
LFGDungeons - Draenor - Heroic Random - 1st
):
The reward for doing the weekly quest on the PTR is 500 Valor Points (
A Shattered Path Through Time
):
Upgrading Tanaan, Baleful, or Hellfire Citadel items for +5 ilvls costs 250 Valor:
There are tracking quests related to running LFR that reward 150 Valor (
LFGDungeons - Draenor 6.2 - Raid Finder - 1st
) and 75 Valor (
LFGDungeons - Draenor - Raid Finder - 1st
).
