I was able to download it this morning. I can say it is one hefty download. Over half the space on my iPad for apps is Diablo Immortal.
I was able to download this today on a Samsung S21 at 10am EST. The download was 1.92 GB.Edit: After the initial update there was in fact another massive, girthy update.
per-registered and showed up on my phone this morning. currently playing <3
I also had access earlier today, and it's your typical mobile RPG. As for space, I imagine it's the standard for games like this (take up a lot of space), I remember that all the attempts I've had with RPG for mobile, all took up a considerable amount of space. One thing that only bothered me is that I have a Samsung A71, I don't think it's bad, but the game recommends playing at minimum settings. I didn't like it that much.Other than that, it's identical to anything you've seen on YouTube channels about the alpha/beta version.
Yes, you pretty much need to have 10GB free on your device to download it, especially with the assets. You can get through your first two zones without downloading the assets, but once you get close to level 20 and are about to go to Westmarch, you'll have to download the rest.I strongly recommend just putting your device on the charger and setting it to unthrottled download. It's much faster that way.It plays very well on mobile, particularly with a controller.
I can play but the linking to my Bnet account isn't working right now - anyone else has issues with that?
Weird glitchy graphics on my Samsung Tab S6 Lite. I'll just play it on PC.
I'm playing it on my iPhone 12 Max, works as well as you could hope, looks and feels like Diablo. The art is great, and the atmosphere is thick: it feels really polished. But as much as I like it, it's still on a phone, not a great gaming experience. I can't imagine how anyone can enjoy a game like Diablo on a phone, but maybe it's not for me.
I wasn't expecting to have a lot of fun using my phone for this game, but it's been really great. I also set up a larger iPad and controller and that's working well. Can't wait to run this on my PC. Overall, I love the story and the experience. I didn't participate in any of the Betas, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I think this is quite a good Diablo game so far.
I was able to download it this morning, but I'll probably wait to play the PC release. The download was only 1.92GB, but I'm guessing that's just the framework.I've 1TB storage on my phone so I'm not worried.
It messaged me this morning on my phone saying it was ready. I started up the game, linked my battle.net account and got to dig in right away. : )
The game is over 12gb on my phone. I know there are some other large games on the market like Genshin or FF15 but that's way too much for a mobile game. Thank god it's coming on PC as well because there is no way that I'm gonna keep a 12+ gb game on my phone for longer than a day.
It is heavy! 12GB total. But man.. This is the first mobile game I'm eager to play. I'm loving it.
