Something like that could have been handy a bit earlier, to be fair. I mean, it probably wouldn't have changed too much, as you kinda will get all factions to high enough renown anyway, but I kinda had a good laugh to see, that both my mains characters can't focus on any one or two factions. One is Blacksmith and Engineer, the other has Alchemy and Enchanting. Also funny to see that for most farm chars (mining and herbalism) it doesn't work out with two factions either, but all four again.
While I knew that Valdrakken had one for mining, I'll be sure to check on the Iskaara Tuskarr.
i just got here last night on an alt that could use this, but it presented me two quests and i'm not sure which to prioritize for my alts professions. i hesitated upon completing either because i wasn't sure if it was a choice i would have to make, in case you can only receive one of the boosts at 14. so we get both quests if our professions are in line with that faction? neato!
To be fair to them, this wasn't secret knowledge, all you had to do was check the rewards screen of the renown and you would have known..
Unfortunately, if you don't have a profession or switch professions after reaching the reward, you get nothing
so how many point do we get for herbalism and mining if we do this?
This PK grind is f'in ridiculous. And in enchanting all progression beyond 50 is locked behind PK.I'm glad they did something to update professions...but I'm not sure this is it.
I'm not sure this table is correct, but it may have to do with combinations of professions. For blacksmithing / engineering, I get the following: Dragonscale Expedition: Crafter's Knowledge I at Renown 14, II at Renown 23 Maruuk Centaur: Crafter's Knowledge 1 at Renown 14, II at 24Tuskarr: noneValdrakken Accord: I at 14, II at 24. I distinctly recall "redeeming" the Expedition one at the blacksmith in the basecamp, but I can't recall specifically how the reward worked - whether it applied to my choice of profession or I got the points in both. It may have been the engineering points but at the blacksmith for whatever reason.
Valdrakken has enchanting recipes also...
I was already focusing on the two reputation needed for Engi/Mining combo, lucky me!
those KP are obtained with quest (given by a NPC faction : name is in the description reward)
