Level 60 deaths should be server-wide. Otherwise the rest can stay guild-wide.
The first question out of the gate with some long winded answer that eventually lead to 'no'. She said they need to test it? It's already in the game with a mod. All you need to do is tweak it so people can adjust things like the level of death or guild vs worlds deaths that they are notified about. Then the guy adds onto it about looking into analytics. I really don't think you need to plan for long term with hardcore. Hardcore official is going to be great when it's released but it's not going to be something that the mass stays long term like Classic itself. Blizzard really did wait too long to jump onto the hardcore bandwagon. People have leveled multiple 60's and lost many characters already in hardcore and while their excited that a new official HC server is being released they will never play as long as if it was Hardcore for the first time.
Seriously disappointing. Free cloning could have made Hardcore runs so much more streamlined. Achievements with titles, tabards, or possible transmog could have been an easy way to reward different challenges without much effort. And of course, giving no new information on the server numbers or being able to reserve names is going to make launch day much more hectic than it needed to be. Very unfortunate.
2023 and they still operate SERVER level, geez just get rid of that so everyone can play with everyone. dont tell me the technology is not there, we have @#$ing AI and they cannot make one server? nvm, I forgot it would take more money than they are willing to spend, my bad, I cannot even play with my EU friends whem I'm on NA server.
I'd like to see deaths reported within the same zone, but maybe filter out under level 10 or something so the starting zone isn't spammed.
