We really needed rings, neck and trinkets for a seasonal event where transmog and mounts are the main thing?
Interesting, I wonder if we can still use our heirlooms to fill those spots.
So does this mean our characters have no rings, no necklace and no trinkets until they can run these dungeons/events?Are these achievements the same as what we did to complete them in real WoW? Or is MoP content updated with new enemies and stories? I'm sure a lot of people who haven't experienced MoP might want to experience it first, to get all the real rewards and then join this. Or vice versa.
Dunno if it will actually be crazy but could that overhealing->dmg ring create a whacky combo, like a Paladin tank stacked in Stamina using Lay on Hands on itself on pull for a massive burst of damage? Also not sure if the trade of parry/dodge/block for damage reduction will work for some tanks like Warriors, since they need the procs from block for some stuff?
I really need to know how that Timerunner's Ring is going to interact with Brewmaster's Mastery. If you don't dodge, you don't lose the stacking dodge chance. So you just...build up to 100% dodge chance, thus 100% DR? There's probably going to be some huge change or limitation on that one later.
I do hope they fix the bug where, if you dont do the whole meta in one sitting, you dont get the achieve or the item
Aw, not account-wide? That would have been a fun 'roguelike' addition to the cloak buff to make future alts even faster to level
Make the jewelry and trinkets (or their achievements) account-wide, and provide ways to earn them other than organized raids and dungeons. Otherwise, the design philosophy for this event is going to be more elitist than retail even. Solo players and alts should not be left out of access to all the gem slots.
So, will these items transfer over to retail once the event ends? S4 is about to get a whole lot juicer if so.
