Good change! After looking into this after I almost died to it due to dropping to 1 HP, I got used to working around it, but not having to worry about getting cheesed by my tier set is a pleasant surprise.
this will be especially nice on jailer when you have to run away and get wacked with stagger ticking running back to the group with like 10k health was scary.
This is a fairly big buff to an already top tier spec. While I agree with the changes, I'm not a fan of the balance impact this has. Indirect buffs like these during an ongoing season should be offset with a nerf to the total value.
Thank you for the evaluation. Instead of 75k to 25k (before), or 75k to 75k (after), why don't Blizzard choose to keep the current health percentage unchanged?I'd refer to Dota here. You could google Dota Power Treads, which is boots that allow you to switch attribute, but it always keeps your current health percentage unchanged for whatever attribute you choose, and the similar mechanic applies to other Dota items. This Brewmaster changes are like two poles, but I think a medium solution above is better. What is more, it will become a rule that can be followed forever, instead of manually tweaking every single health change spells and applying different rules to them, making people frustrated and requiring much more effort.
I am for this change as our 4 set could literally kill us. Having a four-set that can kill you if you are not actively attacking is silly. However I do hope blizzard brings forward some of the good of the four set into Dragonflight and gives brew a self heal to make us not so reliant on a healer
Meanwhile throw a lame few extra secs duration for cleave on BM Hunter's 4pc set bonus, which has absolutely ZERO affects when your soulbind is Dreamweaver because Dream Delver doesn't work with pet attacks, and call it a day with job well done self pat on the back! 👌
