Very interesting. I didn't even know nor notice that debuffs were dropping faster due to this.
This is a good fix. Makes it so random fights aren't harder just because of your debuffs timed off sooner than expected.
This is a great change, well done.
It's a welcome fix but they still need to adjust the range at which the soak circles fly out of the debuffed player. Many instances where it goes too far and becomes a positioning nightmare.
Looks like Sylvanas is getting the second affix disabled this week.
lul they keep spending (or wasting) more time and effort on manually tweaking every single Debuff they think is influential, but all these fixes are unnecessary in the first place if they admit the failure and just change Spark mechanics to not affect time flow rate.In other words,1. If they change Spark mechanics to not affect time flow rate, there's no need to go through hundreds of Raid debuffs now, so they can spend more time on more meaningful S4 change or DF prep.2. It's inevitable that some important Debuff didn't receive a manual fix, either because they forget about it, or they think it's unimportant. Thus, they are going to devote more time on this "Spark - Raid Debuff" fix list, continuously adding more and more debuffs to the list, which is unnecessary in the first place.
I think the "With these changes, this affix is likely just a free damage/healing/cooldown boost as long as you dispel and someone catches the projectile" is incorrect. Yes, as long as someone catches the projectile, then there is no downside. But if you just leave it to one person, as this statement seems to indicate, then the rest of the raid will not get the buff.
Sylvanas was pretty painful. Here's to hoping Jailer fares better next week.
