Poor little kids unable to bot and sell diablo loot womp womp womp
Are the license error issues due to ddos attacks?
Game can barely handle real players. Add multiboxing to the mix, good lucj
At this point I'm doubtful its a DDOS attack and just their servers either can't handle the traffic or are randomly going down, it's just been far too frequent at this point. Given I would think they would have implemented proper counter measures if these attacks are so frequent, if not then its just pure incompetence at this point otherwise.
It's more malicious than multi-boxing for resources or currency. These attacks disrupt service for everyone on affected servers. This time it sounds like they are attacking battle.net as it is affecting all or most games and users.
UGH.. again. Every time I sit down to actually try to play.. NOPE. -_-
Yawn. A CPU core is pinned on a server and they can't track it down, better call it a DDoS. They've used this excuse in the past and they'll use it again in the future. How do investors feel about this multibillion dollar company not being able to mitigate something like this?
100 % sure those are inarius supporters
They think they are @#$%ing with Blizzard, but in reality they are just *!@#ing with gamers who just wanna play some games. Oh well.
Suspicious how blizzard are the only gaming company still successfully getting DDOS'd in 2023. It is so painfully obvious they are using this as an excuse because they refuse to admit they don't invest in server infrastructure. Either buy more hardware for the player peaks or make a arrangement with a third party server company to handle traffic at peak times just stop lying to the player base constantly this is getting pathetic.
In other words they messed something up again during yesterdays midday maintenance.
Is anyone buying that DDOS attack line anymore? I may be wrong but to me it’s far more likely that they’re just hiding behind that to cover up the massive performance issues that the game has had so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re throttling their own servers just to keep them from melting down. And the fact that this so called attacked mysteriously materialized right in between back to back maintenances doesn’t help either…
Poor whiny basement dwellers. Can't handle Blizzard doing things that make them cry... Gotta ruin everyone else's gaming experience too.
Reading these ridiculous comments has been amusing.People actually think blizzard is “covering something up”, or purposely sabotaging their own game for some reason, or can’t/won’t put in stops for these attacks, which is insanely difficult and still keep latency at an even remotely playable amount.Inb4 “other companies don’t have this problem”. Yes they do, just not to the level blizzard does. Blizzard is targeted more than others and the players are far more vocal about their conspiracies, making the issue larger than it is. I swear, players of blizzard games come up with some of the most outlandish reasons to bash on the company.
