The ability to finally turn old gear into something other than enchanting materials? This is wonderful news.Let's just hope any of the gear that is crafted in BfA is actually worth wearing, otherwise this change is over a decade too late.
The ability to remove confirmation boxes through use of a world item is such a simple idea I'd never considered before.
I really hope professions will be finally relevant and useful again.
Maybe it's not obliterum but merely being able to turn crafted items into a portion of the materials used to make it.
The Scrapper is using the confirmation box from the Draenor garrison Essence Font that allowed disenchanting - so this could possibly be a public disenchanter for characters without enchanting. As an enchanting main, that would be amazing for alts, no more vendored gear!
sounds more like a way to get crafted material back then turning non crafted gear into sellable stuff. Which i hope will make leveling that profession quicker, to sell crafted gear before catch up mechanics come into play in 8.2.
Hooray, more soulbound crafting reagents you won't get in bulk on characters that can use them! Really wish they'd NOT do that stupid move again; I don't want 500+ of them on my GATHERING characters, and 2-5 on my CRAFTING characters. Bloods and Primal Sargerite were stupid.
Hrm, sounds like a rather bad idea tbh. Too much risk of clicking stuff you dont want to destroy. Will be a sure source of mass complaints.
amen to this. i hated having crafters that dont have the matts i needed to make stuff. most of the time i had alts that could craft gear/stuff for me
Urgh, soulbound... Wish they went BoA a bit more so we don't get punished for playing another character once in a while.
A discenchant for engineers? Yes please
The system is designed for a gathering prof to be paired with a crafting prof. It's your own fault if your gathering toons end up with this and your crafters don't. Use the system the way it is intended.
Would it really kill them to add a few NEW professions ?
Oh, they finally adopted the scrap system from GW2 to break old or not needed items into crafting materials. Nice. :)
