Nothing could possibly go wrong with this plan
Final boss is PERFECT. Definitely doesn't need to be tested.
i am surprised how far 10.2 allready is.maybe it will be out arround Halloween. The question is tough what will between 10.2 and 11.0I doubt it can sustain over 6-8 months, it would be like Shadowlands again :<
With Blizzcon at the start of november this leaves basically no space for the new tier to start.I think we can safely assume it's gonna be 7th/8th November for the patch launch.
Just some food for thought:Aberrus raid testing ended April the 21st. Patch 10.1 was released on the 2nd of May.We might actually be getting a release before blizzcon. It's possible I suppose. That would mean release on the 24th of October. They could just postpone the raid itself until the 7th, so it's after blizzcon for the devs.More likely it might be released 31st of October, with the raid itself on the 7th. That schedule fits with past raid releases and would be after blizzcon practically speaking.
I wonder....if this raid testing is enough and the last one is on October 13th, it means they can maybe get the patch out on the 25th, leaving time for the race to world first to maybe finish before blizzcon if possible. If thats not their aim or a then it will probably be after Blizzcon. But then again you gotta ask if the raid will release week 1 of the patch or the following week.
At this point I think we could see a 10.3 Argus type reveal at blizzcon along with an 11.0 reveal
didn't they try this last expansion... not testing a raid boss....how did that work out again...
I'd say the tier will start earlier November, might see the patch drop the last week of October, but I would imagine the tier will start in early November.
Too soon? ptr just went up and now they want to do raid testing? good if we can see even front door
Ew. You weirdos, stop asking for last boss testing.Honestly none of it should be on PTR, there is no reason Blizzard's in house team shouldn't be able to test this privately except that people will cry rivers of blood if they're not allowed to spoil themselves and solve the fights before they're even out. The open world zone uses all the same assets so technically that's all they really need to get the necessary PC compatibility testing. The rest is entirely community pressure.
