I guess this is because you can have Alliance & Horde in one guild come 10.1 so it makes sense that Horde/Alliance Hall of Fame is going away.
Don't mind me, just here waiting for people to freak out about this expected change.
should be 400, since 100% is going to be horde guilds anyway
I find this out of touch. Just check when Horde HoF ended, and compare it with the Alliance date; this change will just fill the HoF with Horde. Unsure if it is a good play since trivializes the hard achievement for Horde guilds, and makes it basically impossible for Alliance ones. In the end, I am not even sure if there is any solution to this. Maybe a 150-guild HoF would be a decent compromise, or still try to make faction-based achievements based on where the guild was originally created.
Alliance raiding guilds in shambles
All of the alliance guilds who deemed themselves Hall of Fame while being like 400-500+ world gona cry hard.
There's no such thing as Horde/Alliance guilds anymore folks, it's over!Every guild on 10.1 will be a former Horde/Alliance guild.
whelp I'm unlikely to be getting any more famed titles now but still, good change and makes sense - gives the title a huge amount of prestige back as well compared to how it is currentlyI do wish they'd be a little more creative with the titles though, famed slayer of <boss 117> will never be as cool as things like Death's Demise were
rip alliance guilds
Does anybody even care about the top 200 guilds outside of maybe the #1 guild?
It is a good change. And those saying things like "poor Alliance guilds" - how is it fair to the current horde guilds, that are just outside of the HoF window, but are most likely better than many of the Alliance guilds that fit the HoF window just because there are less of them? This is more fair to everybody.
Yet another Oceanic nerf /slol
