Tired of the "Not In Town" responses when you try to use Spur, even though you're well out of bounds of a city? So was Blizzard apparently - this issue is being fixed in Patch 1.1.2!
Patch 1.1.2 Notes
Fixed an issue where mount skills were sometimes not available after leaving a city.
Among a
plethora of other mount fixes
that went live in Patch 1.1.1, such as Spur speed being unequal for those playing on controllers, it seems that Blizzard is intent on making the Mount system less buggy and more enjoyable for all. More fixes are coming, such as the ability to ride through barricades - stay tuned!
