Blizzard Responds to Extended Maintenance and Instance Problems
We all know the drill. Wake up late on Tuesday morning. Shower. Eat a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats. Go to work/school. And then whenever you get the time, log onto some site devoted to WoW and gripe about maintenance. And what's worse than maintenance? Extra-maintenance!
Well it looks like Blizzard has had a very good reason for it all—all that extended maintenance you've been experiencing is going to pay off! Basically, Blizzard has been looking into the problems that players have been experiencing with servers and instances and they are trying to fix these problems. The extended maintenance has been caused by this. Read the official Blizzard post

The Next Expansion
Blizzard once said that they would like to release a new expansion every year or so and this has gotten people thinking, "After Arthas, what comes next?" Don't get me wrong, I personally feel no need to rush the release of the next expansion—I mean, we still haven't defeated Arthas. But after Arthas, what will our 1337 characters all pimped out in Frozen Throne purples do next?

A Mountain Dew/WoW Contest
A while back Blizz said that special "WoW themed" Mountain Dews would be released this summer. Well, it looks like they're finally here—and to kick it off, they are having a contest!
This summer, we're teaming up with Mtn Dew to offer World of Warcraft-themed Game Fuel in stores across the US. To celebrate, the Game Fuel website is giving away a prize every 15 minutes, beginning today and running until August 20. The prizes include Alienware computers, Razer peripherals, and more. For a chance to win, just visit the site, earn tokens, and then enter them in the sweepstakes of your choice. A 14-day free trial of World of Warcraft is also available through the site -- perfect for anyone in your life who hasn't gotten a taste of the game yet. Check out the FAQ, read the official rules, or head over to the Game Fuel website to register and start bidding on your favorite prizes. And keep an eye out for bottles of World of Warcraft Mtn Dew Game Fuel to show up in stores near you beginning next week.

Religion in WoW
Some of you may have wondered, what are the different religions in the world of Azeroth? Well, in this blog I will discuss a few of those religions. There are seven major religions with a few more minor ones. The seven major religions are
Church of the Holy Light
Worship of Elune
Mystery of the Makers
Followers of the Old Gods
Loa-worship
The Earthmother
Cult of Forgotten Shadow
...with the most prominent of these religions (probably) being the Church of the Holy Light.
Follow us after the break for a little lore-lesson!
