Datamined broadcast text previews for 26310 contain dialogue related to the Siege of Boralus, Azshara, and the Red Dragonflight. The dialogue related to the attack on Teldrassil from last build is now properly attributed to characters as well.
Potential Story spoilers.
Magni Bronzebeard
With the Horde:
Nathanos: I suppose we're just going to let our champion take a trip with the king of diamonds?
Talanji: Dis dwarf promised to better arm your champion to save my people. I am willing to take de risk.
With the Alliance:
Taelia: Wow, a diamond dwarf!
Cyrus: What magic is this?
Taelia: Oh, can you imagine? The diamond dwarf could send us anywhere on Azeroth!
Queen Azshara
It would seem you have guests, Lord Stormsong.
You dare to interfere in my affairs? What makes you think you can oppose my will?
Drown these insects, my children. Show yourselves worthy of my pride.
Enjoy this victory. It will be your last.
How tenacious! Feel honor in your accomplishment of living long enough to face my pride.
Uldir Cats
Last build added lots of Uldir dialogue, including phrases implying the titans have selfies and music saved on their storage. This build adds a line about cat photos taking up lots of storage space:
And five hundred billion norgabytes of images featuring adorable felines.
Inn Dialogue
No, Grenja, I won't buy ya a golden drum! Stop askin' or I be takin' away ya fancy new hat!
Grenja be our resident bard. She'll play any song ya ask her... as long as its drums. She likes smashing things. Hopefully not ya face, ha! She won't, she won't.... She might.
Ha! Volni, be nice. Dey mighta gotten dressed in de dark... Ya not wrong, though!
Yes, I heard what $p said, Man'zul. I still think ya eyepatch be uglier than a saurolisk's backside.
Good eye, $p! Back in Zuldazar, Grenja got us outta a lot of sticky situations. She held open, and knocked down, a lot of doors for us... people too, actually.
...You okay, $p? Ya freaking Grenja out... Ya having a heat stroke?
Hold on, she can't hear ya over de incessant pounding of her drum. Take a break, Grenja! $p is trying to greet ya. Grenja's our bard, but sometimes she be forgettin' people need to talk in here.
Ya not fooling anyone, Volni. I know ya love de hat I got ya, and I'm not moving it until ya admit it!
Speak up! I can't eavesdrop if ya two jerboas be mumbling over dere!
Volni, stop challenging all of our guests to duels! De last two you killed never paid their bill.
Ha! I like ya style, $p, but I beat ya to it. All he's got left is dat ugly eyepatch and dazzling smile.
Man'zul! Dis be a family-friendly inn. Those days are behind us.
Yes, yes, Man'zul. We shoulda listened to you. You didn't deserve dis fate. We shoulda stuck to ya plan. You so smart. I remember. Now shush, or I'll pinch ya nose again!
Siege of Boralus- Taelia Alliance
Heroes, we'll secure the docks while you push further into the district.
With any luck, we'll drive this scum from the city before high tide.
Heroes, my scouts report heavy fighting near the palace.
Please, ensure Lady Proudmoore's safety.
I'll remove the rest of this filth from the docks.
Heroes! Ashvane's forces are attempting to break through our southern wall.
Stop them, and we may have a chance at driving them from Boralus.
I'll rally the militia and secure the castle. Good hunting.
Ashvane's beast is destroying our ships!
Looks like there are still artillery pieces in the wreckage!
The pirates are taking civilians as slaves! Put an end to this!
Well done. The only ones that belong in irons are these thugs.
One of Ashvane's mercenaries is wreaking havoc on the city. Stop them!
Well done. You've taught Ashvane that hired muscle can't match your skill.
Looks like the Horde are taking advantage of the siege and looting the city! Prevent them from plundering Boralus!
Fine work. You've shown the Horde that no enemy will ever take Boralus!
Siege of Boralus - Horde Nathanos
Looks as if Boralus is already in its death throes.
Remember, our primary objective is seizing Lady Ashvane's azerite weapons.
Though, while we're here, might as well see what other treasures we can find.
I'll circle above and call out anything that looks interesting.
I've spotted one of Kul Tiras's finest rallying his troops in the courtyard ahead.
Eliminating him will sow disorder among their ranks, making it easier for you to move through the city.
Ha! Look at them scatter. Without their leadership, these humans are worthless.
I've sighted a high value target in the next district using azerite artillery. Claim those weapons for the Horde.
With the bounty of azerite you've secured, we'll ensure the Alliance meets the same fate as Boralus.
That ship is laden with azerite caches. Slaughter the crew, and I'll haul its cargo out of the city.
This beast is using weapons empowered with azerite.
It seems Ashvane provided us with a convenient exit. It's time we take our leave and allow Boralus to burn.
Lasy Ashvane has a kraken?!
That creature is blocking your escape route. You'll need to kill it to reach our boats on the opposite shore.
The Dark Lady will surely appreciate your service.
It's a pity that destroying that vessel will allow the Kul Tirans to regroup.
I've caught sight of our next quarry to the south. You'd best move quickly.
I doubt it will surrender it willingly, so you'll have to wrench that weapon from its cold dead hand.
A Kul Tiran officer is attempting to rally a defense. Remove them from the battlefield.
Without their officers, the Kul Tirans will be driven into the sea.
Ashvane's forces are using azerite artillery to assault the city. Claim these weapons for the Horde!
We will wreak havoc on the Alliance with these munitions.
Some of the Alliance's champions have arrived and are attempting to save the city. Put an end to their efforts.
No matter what they send at us, the Alliance will know nothing but defeat.
Vorrik - Sethrak in Vol'dun
The time of her rebirth has passed, and now I fear something is preventing her from returning.
This temple is the resting place of Sethraliss, a powerful loa that protected my people from destruction long ago.
She sacrificed herself to stop Mythrax... but with her death, the jungles of Vol'dun withered to sand.
You have my gratitude for removing that infestation.
Now please, make haste. I sense a growing darkness taking hold of the temple.
Well, you certainly have a knack for destruction.
Must you pick at every corpse for treasure? Sethraliss is our true goal!
I was there when Sethraliss sacrificed herself to stop Mythrax.
If not for her, the world would have fallen to chaos.
Her sanctum should be just up ahead.
Wait, who are these intruders?! They are corrupting Sethraliss!
I have heard that a rare breed of krolusks has made a den within the temple. Bring me one of the hatchlings, and I will reward you.
An excellent specimen! Quickly now, clear the temple of this Faithless filth!
I understand the Faithless have hidden several of our people's artifacts somewhere in the bazaar just before the temple's heart.
Bring me these relics, and you shall be rewarded.
Excellent work! Now see to the heart of Sethraliss.
Our sorcerers have sensed unusually strong electrical currents within the temple.
Wrest one of the devices from the Faithless sorcerers and charge it. You will be rewarded for your efforts.
An excellent acquisition. Now quickly, purge the rest of the Faithless!
This is Sulthis's key. It is one of three needed to break the barrier that surrounds the pyramid.
Long ago, before the sands began to spread, a monstrous warbringer descended upon our lands. He slaughtered all in his path, troll and sethrak alike.
It was a battle not meant for mortals. We were all doomed to die at the hands of that monstrosity, but our loa intervened.
She battled the behemoth with a strength known only to gods. Though she struck the C'Thrax down, it was able to destroy the disc within the troll pyramid.
Gravely wounded, Sethraliss retreated to her temple. It was there that she died, and the Keepers were formed.
We saw firsthand the destruction a C'Thrax could bring, and we knew that we needed to prevent anyone from raising him again.
Sulthis was the most powerful among us. It was he who suggested creating a barrier around the pyramid to seal Mythrax's tomb.
Although he was immensely powerful, Sulthis could not create the barrier alone. Korthek and I lent him our aid, and together, we sealed the tomb.
To ensure that the barrier could not be easily broken, we each created a key. The magic we used to form the barrier can only be undone when all three keys are present. And thus, the Keepers were formed.
For years, we lived in peace, as Sethraliss would have wanted. Our land was ruined and our loa was gone, but we adapted. We knew without a doubt that one day, Sethraliss would return.
Over the years, Korthek grew weary of our way of life. Although we had always been at peace with our troll neighbors, Korthek was hungry for war.
He secretly plotted to unearth the C'Thraxxi general and use him as a weapon to conquer the continent.
Korthek raised an army of like-minded sethrak, and they began to slaughter those who opposed them.
Sulthis was murdered, but not before he was able to safeguard his key. Those of us still loyal to Sethraliss were forced out of our home and into hiding. We have been fighting the Faithless ever since.
We are heading into the heart of the Faithless empire, $p.
It is a cruel nest of rock and dirt, swarming with sethrak who have forsaken our loa.
I lived here too once, long ago. Before Korthek betrayed our people for power and madness.
In those days, Korthek and I led all sethrak in our worship of Sethraliss.
My personal sanctum was hidden away in the hills. A small shrine to Sethraliss, where I could meditate.
It has been abandoned for years, but it will be an ideal place to launch our--
Wait... what are vulpera doing here?
I am the true power of the sethrak!
No. You are our failure. Sethraliss sacrificed herself so we could live in peace.
We will keep Mythrax's prison sealed, and I will unite our people.
I wonder, Vorrik... If you're here, who's guarding the keys in your temple?
What have you done, Korthek?
Ensured my victory no matter what happens here. General Jak'razet already has my key, and by now... I suppose he has yours, as well.
I did not force anyone to follow me, Vorrik... Our people are conquerors...
No, old friend. Our people are dead, because of you.
And now, you must join them. Sethraliss forgive you.
Talanji
There's some discussion if G'huun, the final boss of Uldir, is a Blood God or an Old God. Talanji is treating the threat as an Old God.
An Old God?! Dis is why de blood trolls assault my city... if de last seal is destroyed, dat monster will be unleashed upon Azeroth!
Teldrassil Battle - Malfurion
When the wisps are at peace, so is the forest. You have my thanks.
The ancients have awoken in light of a new threat. Remove the Horde from here to set them back at ease.
All things must be balanced in nature -- war and peace. Your actions today have given us the respite we will need to persevere.
The warchief's attacks are unrelenting. Scour the forest and cleanse her dark presence from this place!
The threat has abated for now. The ancients may feel peace once again.
The trees of this great forest bend and break in agony as the Horde march deeper in to our lands. We must not allow them to advance any further!
Elune praise you for your bravery, hero.
I sense a disturbance in the north. Could it be? Has the Horde begun to attack us from over the mountains? Investigate, quickly!
I will send as many soldiers as I can muster to this site. Hopefully, they can fend off the assault -- we can't afford a war on two fronts.
This one walks in shadow, hero. But none can hide from Elune's blessed moonlight. Put them down.
Balance has been restored. Anu'dorini talah!
An elemental... of pure azerite. I do not know what to expect here, champion... but please, do take care.
I suppose that could have gone worse. Ensure that its resin is not collected by the Horde.
The wisps before you are mere shells of who they once were. Warm them with your touch, champion. These ancient spirits are frightened and disturbed. Give them peace.
Teldrassil Battle - Captain Delaryn
Azerite has surfaced amongst the ruins of Darkshore. We cannot let the Horde get their hands on it!
Excellent work! I'll have my alchemists store the azerite somewhere out of the Horde's reach.
The Horde already has azerite weapons. Let's see if we can't confiscate some of them, shall we?
These will do just fine, hero. Your contribution today will not be overlooked.
The Horde is trying to steal the essence from our moonwells! Do not allow their filth to desecrate our blessed springs!
Elune smiles upon you, hero. As do I.
Horde saboteurs have crept in among our ranks! Flush them out! Make them bleed as we have!
That appears to be the last of them.
Even underwater, those azerite powder kegs are still quite dangerous. I want you to detonate them before they can float to the surface. Try to keep yourself in one piece, would you?
You seem a little singed, hero. Things not go as planned?
My archers could use your help, champion. Lend your aid to any you may find!
Elune praise you, hero. You shine with the light of a star.
That cargo is the property of the Alliance! Do not let the Horde take what is ours!
That was a noble act, hero.
The Horde waited until dawn to ambush us! Arm yourself and meet me in the fray!
My archers should be able to handle it from here. Your presence made all the difference, champion. You have my thanks.
Wars are won on the outcome of a thousand battles. Care to add another one to the list?
Well fought, hero. And with such fervor...
The Horde have established a foothold beyond the borders of Ashenvale. We must bring it down! Strike quickly!
Burn, baby... burn.
The Horde have arrived in great numbers, and none of them are to be underestimated. This one in particular seems... resilient. Approach with care, hero.
I never doubted you for a second.
Wild chimaeras are dangerous beasts, but a single carcass will feed an army of fifty. And my druid brethren, well... they eat like bears. It's a dirty job, but someone has to refill our stocks. Are you up for it?
Our chefs should be able to whip up some chimaera chops with this. Thank you.
Our domesticated fey dragons aren't accustomed to wearing a bridle, so you'll have to excuse the bumpy ride. Mount up and guide their attacks. You will find that they are quite potent.
That was quite a ride, wasn't it? Excellent work, both of you.
It's time to fight fire with fire! We must rid the Horde of their demolishers and push them back to the desolate Barrens where they belong!
I must say... Nice aim, hero. My sentinels could learn a thing or two from you.
Ever used one of these before? Hold on tight, you're in for a surprise.
You eliminated the threat AND returned my siege weapon in one piece. You get extra credit for that.
Teldrassil Battle - Sylvanas
These wisps are nothing but pests. Insects to crush between your fingers. Stifle their light one by one, and soon the sky will fill with darkness.
That's exactly the kind of message I want to send to Malfurion. Excellent work.
Azerite has surfaced amongst the ruins of Darkshore. We must not allow the Alliance to gather a single shred of it!
Very nice, champion. I will have the azerite added to our reserves.
The kaldorei bear pendants made of moonstone. The gem is a power source to them. Let's see if we can't make it a power source for us instead. Acquire their pendants by any means necessary.
I will have our enchanters infuse these with azerite immediately. Your contributions are appreciated.
The kaldorei use moonwells to replenish their strength in battle. Gather as much essence from them as you'd like before you... render them unusable. Am I understood?
The moonwell essence is yours to keep, hero. Feel free to... relieve... the kaldorei of any moonwells they may construct in the future.
Alliance saboteurs have infiltrated our foothold! Flush them out! Make them bleed!
I believe our encampment is safe. For now.
Our azerite powder kegs have been flung from our ships! Gather them quickly, before they sink!
Your efforts are needed elsewhere, champion. I have a team of goblins ready to scour for the rest.
My dark rangers could use your help, champion. Lend your aid to any that you may find!
Thank you. They must have miscalculated their attacks. Surely they know to stay behind the vanguard...
That cargo belongs to the Horde! Do not let the Alliance take what is ours!
The weapons you have reclaimed will prove useful to our war effort. You have my thanks.
So the ancients want to come out and play, do they? Let us give them a rude awakening.
Imagine, to sleep for thousands of years only to awaken for this. Such a pity.
That night elf commander is testing my patience. Break her.
Poor thing, she barely got a chance to swing.
Our army outnumbers Malfurion's soldiers ten to one! We must push further in to Darkshore while we still have this advantage!
My faith in you was well-placed, soldier. Now, give the rest of our army some time to catch up, will you?
The kaldorei are stronger at night. We must deal with them before nightfall! Arm yourself and meet me in the fray!
We have stricken a significant blow to their reserves, hero. Well done.
Do not relent, hero! These elves are feral and would do you no such favor.
You must kill or be killed in times of war. There is nothing else to say.
The Alliance have begun to find the footholds we have established in Darkshore! We must not lose ground! Defend what progress we have made so far!
It is effort like yours that I wish to see in all of my soldiers, champion. You fight with finesse and fervor.
The kaldorei appear to have mustered reinforcements. This one should prove to be a challenge. Die well, champion. Never surrender.
I never doubted you for a second.
I have just received word that Saurfang has crested the mountains between Darkshore and Felwood. Meet him at Shatterspear Vale and ensure that his passage is secure.
You are the right tool for the job, champion.
Another commander, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dispatch her. We can't risk her gathering reinforcements.
Cut the rose before it can sprout thorns, I always say.
Orcs make for fine soldiers, but they eat as much as ten dark rangers. Bring a couple of chimaeras back to camp when you return, would you?
That should do.
An elemental... of pure azerite. Slay it, champion, but do not destroy it. Gather as much of its resin as you can!
I have never seen so much azerite in one place. This both concerns and pleases me.
We have some wind riders available to us. Gather our explosives and wreak havoc on that wisp wall. We will send a message to Malfurion.
They're not nearly as resilient as they appear, are they, champion? One by one, they fall.
The Alliance seeks to use siege weaponry against us? How quaint. Show them what the Horde's demolishers can do.
That was a lesson they won't soon forget.
Ever used an azerite bomb before? Want to witness true power? Brace yourself for impact, champion. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
All right, that's enough. Let's save some for the grand finale.
Azerite on Islands
Boats just arrived, only seen dem once before, called the tol'vir. Dey don't look friendly.
Never thought I'd see another Tol'vir ship. A few of dem coming ashore, lookin' angry.
Ay we got some Tol'vir showin' up, they searchin' for Azerite same as us, ha ha.
Tol'vir be joinin' us on the Azerite hunt. Ya watch ya backs out dere.
Um, a large dragon just landed on the island. You know my boat is flammable, right? Keep it away. Far, far away.
This is just perfect, a black dragon. A black dragon! And half of his flight! Here! Just perfect.
Hey so a big dragon just showed up, with a whole bunch of little dragons, and they all look really unhappy about us taking the Azerite.
Woah! What just flew overhead? Did you see that? There's a big dragon somewhere on the island, watch it.
You're going to love this, the mantid just showed up. Of course, they're after the Azerite, too. Of course.
Is that a swarm of bees? No, no those are big. Yup, it's the mantid, aaaand they're almost here.
I've heard of these guys, called the mantid I think. You, uh, just deal with them for us, ok? I'm allergic.
We are about to be neck-deep in bugs over here, huge mantid swarm landing. I'm going below, you guys have fun!
Wow, what smells like seaweed? Oh, hey, we've got some kvaldir over here, guys.
Things are getting awfully misty over here. That's got to be kvaldir, keep a look out, if you can, you know, manage to see anything.
Hey, um, we've spotted some kvaldir ships, they'll be here any minute. Must be drawn by the Azerite. Why did I take this job again?
Fog's rolling in. No, wait, I see rotting ships, ok it's the kvaldir. Great.
We've got naga slithering out of the depths, looking like they're going to raid our stash. I'm going to go ahead and load the cannons now.
Naga just showed up, looking for Azerite. No doubt on a mission for our friend Azshara. What is her deal, anyway?
Spotted some naga in the eyeglass, they'll be here pretty soon. Give them a nice welcome for us, will ya?
Well, now the naga have arrived. This is just what we needed. Don't get killed out there, ok?
Mogu serpents are dropping off a raiding party. Tipped off by the Azerite, once again. Every time.
Some, uh, mogu just landed on the island. Not sure what they're doing, going to let you look into it.
Saw some mogu around the island just now, keep an eye out, we're, uh, not friends.
And we've got mogu, a lot of them, after the Azerite. Probably want to get over here.
That is a storm of shadowy darkness, super. This has to be old gods. Watch out for tentacles.
Is anyone else hearing whispers? Either I'm going crazy, or there's some faceless on the island, and they're after the Azerite.
We got some tentacle-faced monstrosities on the island now and yup, that's it, im out, I'm going below, goodbye.
And now it looks like we've got the attention of nothing less than an old god and his minions. Can you, uh, deal with this whole situation?
Who in the world are these guys? I can't make out their faces. Might be friendly? Probably not.
Ah! Where did those guys come from? It's like they appeared out of thin air. Hey, heroes? We've got company.
We've spotted some strange new arrivals. They appear to be collecting the Azerite, like us, but there's something not quite right about them.
Got some new arrivals, never seen these guys before. Going to guess they're not here to help us.
Some angry looking lizards are eyeing our ship and it's Azerite. Maybe don't let them take it? Maybe?
What's that in the waves? Oh, wow, ok, a whole lot of saurok just showed up from the depths. This is all you guys.
Well, an entire saurok warband just swam right up out of the ocean. So that just happened.
Saurok just showed up, probably sniffed out the Azerite. Wait, do they have noses? I'm not going to ask them.
Woah! Cannon fire just missed us. We've got pirates, and a lot of them, coming ashore right now.
And now a THIRD ship has shown up, of course, because I get all of the fun missions. It's pirates, by the way, if you were wondering.
Pirate crew is making landfall, because of course where there's treasure on an island, you've got to have pirates.
Pirate ship on the horizon, probably looking to plunder this place, too. Pirates are always doing that.
What is that, centaur? Mantaur? Hey, some uh, tol'vir I think they are, just showed up.
Tol'vir ships just made landfall, how does everyone know where this Azerite is? I hate this stuff. Can you go deal with them?
Wow, the tol'vir, eh? Haven't seen one of these ships in a long, long time. Well, they're here now, and they hate us.
Yo, we've got some tol'vir ships on the horizon, and they do not look like they want to engage in peaceful trade so let's hurry up out there, thanks.
The undead? Here? I have no idea what is going on now, but I bet it's something bad.
And to make things even better, it looks like the undead are now spreading across the island. I don't even want to know.
Well that is THE most unpleasant smell I've ever smelled. Who did that? Oh, it's the dead, hey guys, the dead are here and they're after the Azerite! Ok?
Now what is going on with the sky? Why's it so dark? And WHY are there dead corpses all over the island now? Oh boy.
We've got, like, a whole flight of dragons that just landed, and I bet I know what they're after. Good luck!
Dragons, we've got dragons, and they're looking directly at the ship. I think they see me. Can you, um, help?
Hey, friends? A big dragon just showed up, and it looks interested in your Azerite. Just thought I'd let you know.
And a HUGE dragon just showed up out of nowhere, because that's what I need today. It's been a real week for me, you know? Anyway, yeah, dragon.
Hey look, a whole bunch of troll ships just arrived. Because what we needed was more trolls. A whole raid of trolls, why not? Great idea.
Some of the island troll clans have showed up, probably also after the Azerite plunder. If you could keep them away from the ship we'd really appreciate it.
Island troll canoes on the horizon, they'll be here any minute. This Azerite is like a beacon for everything I hate.
Some unfriendly island trolls have decided to crash this party, they're making camp around the island.
Vrykul ships are on the way, looks like a raiding party. They're always raiding things, it's their thing.
Vrykul flotilla just arrived, a whole lot of really mean looking warriors are making camp around the island from what I can see from behind this barrel.
Vrykul longboats just dropped off a large group, they must be after our stash. Let's not let them take it, ok?
Longboats, vrykul make, and there's a lot of them. Looks like a clan has taken to the seas after the Azerite.
We've got Venture Company goons spotted around the island, looks like a hostile takeover is underway.
Venture Company just showed up, looking to cash in on this Azerite source like only goblins can.
Venture Company operation's getting started in several locations around the island. You should go put them out of business.
Hey, it's our friends at the Venture Company, here to help relieve us of our Azerite. Such nice guys. You'd like them, go make friends.
Pirate Ship
Q: Why do you have a pirate ship?
A: Garona sent me lookin' for a boat. So I got one.
Q: Where did you get this ship?
A: "Eheheheheheheh... Dat's a story for another time, boss-mon."
Q: How did you come up with the name?
A: I always be wantin' a pirate ship, boss-mon. I named it afta my daughta, Mala! If I get an airship, I gonna name it afta my son!"
Lichen King
Fungmourne hungers!
There must always be... a Lichen King....

. They are pretty angry at the Death Knights for the class mount questline.
I see $n is on their way back. They might be able to assist you, Zallestrasza.
Then $n and I will see to this task. Come, $c, I will take you to the ritual site.
During the recent war with the Legion, one of our own was raised as an undead creature.
To obtain this information, the Deathlord invaded our Ruby Sanctum.
We do not wish a repeat of those terrible events.
Thank you for your help, $n.
Thank you, I suppose.
What you did to Kyranastraza is not something I can forgive lightly.
My heart is not as great as my Queen's.
But this is a start.
There is what remains of Vadekius. He was a mighty dragon.
To kill him it would have taken something dark and powerful indeed.
Don't get any ideas.
Collector Kojo
A swarm of quilljets? How very gracious of them to show up just when I ran out of ink! Take this scroll, and use it to siphon that precious ink from them.
Ah, that'll do nicely. I trust the slithery critters didn't give one such as you too much trouble?
... Right, I made a note right here about the red blooms. I even circled it. In red. Thank you for your help. That may not have ended well otherwise.
A swarm of quilljets? How very gracious of them to show up just when I ran out of ink! I have just the thing for such an occasion! Now, hop into the water and siphon that precious ink for me.
Ah, that'll do nicely. I trust those slithery critters didn't give you too much trouble?
Many tortollans have been lost to these butchers, but we can still salvage their knowledge before the trolls get their hands on it. Recover any usable scrolls from their camp!
Hrmph, barely passable condition. Thankfully those clods don't know right from left, much less how to use these. I will keep them somewhere safe.
Ah, you there. I wish to collect samples of this rare desert bloom. Please assist me.
This beach is well known for its lovely sea-glass, polished and washed ashore by the waves. But the murlocs that live there are so tiresome! Would you collect some of that glass for me? Do it however you see fit.
Wonderful! Beautiful! Oh this one has some sand on it. But no matter. You did very well!
Usually, a flutterby only lives a few months, if they're lucky. However, something's different about the ones here. I'd like to observe a few specimens. Please gather some up for me. Be gentle -- they are quite delicate.
Fascinating. These are exquisite little travelers. I wonder what kind of story they will tell. My thanks, neighbor!
I once heard tell of a tasty snack, from a desert across the sea. Gather some buzzard wings and scorpid stingers. I'm going to whip up a new variation on it -- something with a little kick.
Whew. These will not be for the faint of heart... or weak of belly.
Never underestimate the value or power of something more than two centuries old.
Hmph. Artifacts of great power belong in the hands of elders, not some rambunctious adventurer.
If you find powerful artifacts, bring them to me and don't go trying to use them yourself.
I need someone young, with a working back and a willingness to do battle with the forces of evil... for profit.
Ah good, an adventurer. I have need of your services.
What are your hero rates and estimated funeral expenses?
Blah blah blah. Get on with it.
I believe we should trade with people of all races and creeds... except the naga. Horrible creatures.
If you think you can out pester me, you are sadly mistaken.
You remind me of this young hozen I once met. He thought he was a king of monkeys or some such nonsense. Constantly poking me.
These murlocs are interfering with our research! Deal with these hooligans!
Thank you. Now we can continue our work in peace.
Scrollsage Nola
Help! The little ones have taken our scrolls and turned themselves into beasts. We have dispelling scrolls, but you will need to get close enough to use them. Watch out!
You have my thanks. Children these days have no respect for their elders, or their belongings. Back in my day...
I've reproduced an old scroll from our archives, but it could use a test run. There just happens to be a complimentary army of undead on the coast, and they are ripe for a beating!
Eh? There's something strange going on nearby. Be a dear and check it out. It could lead to something interesting.
This will make a great story to tell the others. Here's something for your efforts. Keep it up.
I've reproduced the Scroll of Fate's Hand, but it could use a test run. There just happens to be a complimentary army of undead on the coast, and they are ripe for a beating!
Hmm it's still talking... A LOT. Back to the drawing board! Your assistance was most appreciated, dearie.
I've dug up an old set of scrolls, but I haven't the slightest idea what they do. Give them a try for me and see what effect they have. It could be fun!
Direhorn dinomancy! How delightful. Now let's just tuck these away where Kojo can't reach them.
In such harsh conditions, the creatures of Vol'dun have evolved remarkable survival capabilities. Would you collect evidence of these adaptations for me?
I remember when these lands were still covered in lush jungle. Isn't it amazing how things can change over time? Oh, you have what I asked for. Wonderful!
This reminds me of a story...
Come see old Nola again sometime.
Well, wasn't that nice?
Adventurers are so polite these days.
Have you come to speak to old Nola?
You look like you can appreciate a good story.
It's so nice to see you, dearie.
Well aren't you a spry young thing?
Some say I have a tendency to ramble. My sister was far worse, though. Did you know she once fell asleep mid-sentence?
I almost didn't notice that she was snoring. Her voice is so rough as it is. Rather like my second grandson, actually.
He was such a proud tortollan, if a bit big for his shell, if you know what I mean. A shame he was eaten by a whale shark.
Did you know you can use whale shark gills in soup? It prevents scale rot! Oh, what were we talking about?
Pterrordax saliva is well known for its restorative properties. Collect the glands from them so we can put it to good use.
Oh, these will be perfect! Remind me to tell you about how I discovered the glands' usefulness. It's quite a story.
The ravasaurs of the wildlands have a nasty habit of eating anything they encounter, but it does make their stomach lining especially tough. Gather up some of it for me, would you?
Ravasaur stomach lining has many uses! You can boil it, dry it, saute it... Or am I thinking of something else? Hmm. I think it's time for lunch.
The Alliance and Horde are more interested in beating each other senseless than they are in archaeology. We need an updated survey of the damage they are doing to the ruins.
This will do nicely. Once they have finished their warring, we will be able to properly catalogue the site.
Warguard Rakera
I write dis as I sit in a cage with a dozen other exiles, traveling to de sands where we will live out our days, however numbered dey may be. De air, heavy with heat, tells me we're close.
De sun has set across de dunes, providing some relief from de heat dat has made many delirious. In a sun-stricken stupor, one among us began rambling about a temple to de south dat welcomes exiles. I doubt he will make it through de night.
Assassins, sent by Jakra'zet, attacked our camp in de middle of de night. Unarmed and befuddled by sleep, we were unable to defend ourselves. I fought off de traitors, but it was too late; de survivors had scattered, each now forced to navigate dis unforgiving terrain alone.
I won't survive much longer without food or water. After traveling in circles for most of de day, I decided my only option was to follow de advice of a rambling madman and head south toward de promise of shelter.
It's over, Jakra'zet. Your plan has failed!
I told Kaja to keep moving. We need to stop Jakra'zet before it's too late.
We need to catch up with her. Let's go!
It is as I suspected. General Jakra'zet has troops in de desert, unbeknownst to de king.
They scour de dunes, searching for a weapon dat can destroy de city, killing any who get in their way.
I have no idea what dis weapon is, or where to find it, but it can't be good if Jakra'zet is hiding its existence from de king.
We must find de weapon before Jakra'zet has a chance to get his hands on it.
