Boralus is the Alliance Hub in Battle for Azeroth, which recently opened on the BFA alpha. This city is
not
as polished as the Horde hub, but we can at least preview the architecture, layout, and some NPCs. There are fun nautical elements to the city, such as houses shaped like boats and fish statues.
Note that this city is unfinished, as it is missing many NPCs, has terrain issues, and several placeholder objects like elven statues from Tomb of Sargeras.
General City
Here are some sweeping views of the city, taken on flightpaths and from the tops of buildings.
Unity Square
Unity Square has a maze garden, and a festive square for large gatherings.
Proudmoore Keep
This appears to be the military stronghold for Boralus, flanked with cannons and moats.
Crosswind Commons
This area is a lively residential district with guards, fishermen, merchants, and an Inn. You'll also find pesky seagulls, just like the ones in Eye of Azshara.
Stormsong Monastery
This area, a secluded island, is hostile to players and it's easy to see why. The members of the monastery have killed Boralus workers, cover their surroundings in tentacles, and have cultists hiding in the basement. However, you can find the monks still brewing their own ale!
The Outroad
This road connects the various islands of Boralus.
Hook Point Alley
Hook Point Alley is mostly hostile to players, with doomsayers inciting the crowd, angry citizens, and poorly-fed horses. You'll even catch a lazy guard dozing off at his post.
Boralus Docks
The docks are the heart of commerce for Boralus, with ships from the famous Kul Tiras navy.
Trade Area
In this part of Boralus, you'll find merchants and
