Burning Crusade Classic Lore in Short: The Burning Legion

Blizzard has released a short lore video covering the history of the Burning Legion. This 90 second refresher focuses on the cosmic level, briefly depicting the origins of the Burning Legion and Sargeras' betrayal of the Titan Pantheon - events which ultimately served as catalysts for the creation of the Dark Portal, Orc invasion of Azeroth, and resulting transformation of Draenor into Outland.
The Burning Legion will stop at nothing to destroy all world-souls in order to prevent the void lords from corrupting the universe.

A blog post was also released last week, detailing
The Story So Far
, beginning with the War of the Ancients and moving through Illidan's story during
Warcraft III
, along with the fall of the Draenei and history of the Blood Elves. This video focuses more on the cosmic level however, explaining Sargeras' war against the Pantheon and origin of two Burning Crusade raid bosses, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden, while the Prophet Velen and his followers refused the mad Titan.
