Tip One: Plan Your Zone Order
You'll have to do them all eventually for
BFA Pathfinder
I you're coming into this with raid gear and good legendaries, you want to target the toughest zones first in terms of mob density in questing areas and scaling. For Alliance, that's Drustvar > Tiragarde > Stormsong and for Horde that's Vol'dun > Zuldazar > Nazmir.
If you're coming in without set bonuses and BiS legendaries, you want to do those zones later with the benefit of a bit of Azerite armor. In that case, reverse it. Stormsong > Tiragarde > Drustvar for Alliance and Nazmir > Zuldazar > Vol'dun for Horde.

leveling guides!
Tip Two: Don't Get Stuck on Tricky Quests
Don't get held up on problematic quests. If you're trying to do a quest and it's frustrating you, just go quest elsewhere and come back to it. The questing content is set up in hubs that aren't really all that linear, so odds are great you can find something else to do.
Also, before you give up search the quest name on Wowhead to see if anyone has solutions in the comments.
Tip Three: Choose Gathering Professions
Take Herbalism and Mining if you're not attached to your profession slots. Herb nodes in particular are everywhere, and you get an extra little exp each time you gather while out questing.

Herbalism
and
Mining
guides!
Tip Four: Scrap Gear for Materials
Don't vendor quest reward gear- keep it for the scrapper. In your capital city is located a device kind of like the Obliterum Forge but more useful for non-crafters. You put in gear, it spits out trade materials. Doesn't matter where you got the gear.
Even if you don't need trade materials, selling them will almost definitely get you more than vendoring quest items.

Guide to the Scrapper
!
Tip Five: Pick Useful Azerite Traits
Pick Azerite armor traits that are helpful while leveling. As you quest, you'll come across pieces of Azerite armor and have to make choices about the traits.
You'll get higher item level stuff at 120 and replace the leveling pieces anyways, so don't worry about picking the best raiding traits. If you're having difficulty staying alive, pick self healing traits.

Tip Six: Turn On War Mode
You can level in War Mode for 10% more Experience- but your experience may vary.
Remember that you can go back to SW or Org to turn it off if it ends up causing you more setbacks.
You can stack up a log full of completed quests while out of War Mode, then go turn it on and turn them in.
War Campaign questing in War Mode is more dangerous due to higher amounts of enemy faction players.
War Mode can only be toggled in Stormwind/Orgrimmar- not Boralus or Dazar’Alor.

War Mode Guide

Tip Seven: Work on War Campaign
Keep up with the War Campaign as you level. Slows you down via travel time, but will need to be done eventually so you may as well earn the experience from them.
You'll need to have those done to unlock a variety of things including:
Access to the Mission Table of Battle for Azeroth, as well as 5 Champions by the time you're done with the Campaign;
Access to the enemy continent;
Access to the War Effort Advancements, equivalent to the
Order Hall Advancements of Legion
;
Access to the 7th Legion and Honorbound Reputations;
Revered with them is required for
Diplomata Azerotiano
, required for
Desbravador de Battle for Azeroth, Parte Um
, and Exalted is required to unlock the Dark Iron Dwarf and Mag'har Orc Allied Races.
World Quests in Kul Tiras and Zandalar, as well as
Apito do Mestre de Voo
functionality in both Kul Tiras and Zandalar;
Access to some Mythic-only dungeons;
The achievement
Pronto para a guerra
.

Tip 8: Don't Go After Every Rare/Treasure
Rare mobs and treasures don't provide significant exp. Go after them if it feels fun and you're in the mood, but don't expect it to speed up your leveling in any way.
Also, rare mob gear only drops once and scales to your level- you may need it to fill a problematic slot at 120 as you start gearing.
Tip 9: Socket 5% Experience Gem
The
Rubelita
is a unique-equipped gem that grants an extra 5% experience earned. On beta, it was stacking when socketed into different pieces of gear.
Check out our
BFA Jewelcrafting Guide for more info!
Tip 10: Use Guild Banner
Throw down one of these
Estandarte de Batalha da Coordenação
for an extra 15% mob killing exp within 100 yards for 15 minutes, on a 10 minute cooldown. Lots of quests take place in isolated areas where you can take advantage of this, so make sure you have one on you.
Drag it to your bar for easy deployment.
If you're leveling with guildmates, coordinate your banners to cover more ground or alternate covering each questing area.

Wowhead's Leveling Guide!
Tip 11: Acquire Reputation for World Quests
You will need friendly with each of the main leveling factions to get world quests at 120. Prioritize that.
If you do enough dungeons or Archaeology or Herbalism and stay in one zone, you might be able to hit 120 without seeing all of them and then need to go back and catch up.
Prioritize getting at least Friendly reputation with the three zone-based factions.
Check out our
BFA Rep Guides for more info!
Tip 12: Know Portal Locations
There are portals to go between Stormwind/Orgrimmar and Boralus/Atal'dazor respectively.
The Boralus ones are located near the fountain of the Tradewinds Market.
The Horde ones are located in a room off the west side of the Great Seal chamber.
To get back, portals are in the Mage Tower for Alliance and the Cleft of Shadows for Horde.

Don't stress about the fastest everything unless that's your thing. There's plenty of time. Stay hydrated, eat healthy snacks, get enough sleep. Leveling will be over in less than a week for most people and BfA will be around for years, so do it in a way that's fun for you.
