The latest build for the 6.2.1 PTR is here--you can test Flying in Draenor and PvP Mercenary Mode on the test realms. It's a very small PTR build and it mainly looks like Mercenary Mode is enabled. Read more about Mercenary Mode

.
There are two new spells related to Ashran:

Patch 6.2.2: Content Made Easier by Flying in Draenor
Flying in Draenor is coming in Patch 6.2.1! We have a
Flying Tool
and
Guide to Draenor Pathfinder
, but in this guide we’ll be looking at what will be much easier to do in Draenor with flying. Perhaps you’ll find something you enjoyed doing in a past expansion and want to revisit, or learn something new!
Topics covered include Archaeology, Battle Pets, Stables Perks, and Treasures.
Method's World First Mythic Archimonde Video, Mythic Video Guides, Flying-Only Tanaan Area on PTR
Method
has released their World First Mythic
Archimonde
kill video!
Method killed Mythic Archimonde
on July 16th after
472 wipes
. Mythic Archimonde drops
ilvl 735 loot
, has the unique
Felsteel Annihilator
mount, and awards the title .
Keep reading for information on the Mythic Archimonde kill video, Method's initial Mythic Hellfire Citadel guides, as well as a new part of Tanaan Jungle you can access via flying on the 6.2.1 PTR!

Build Highlights
New Achievement for Guild Realm First Mythic Archimonde:
Realm First! Archimonde
Most spell changes listed are simply tooltip updates for existing hotfixes. Visit the spell pages to see if they already have hotfixes listed or not to determine if the change is new.
Booterang
from
The Booterang: A Cure For The Common Worthless Peon
makes a reappearance:
Spike-Toed Booterang
New Mercenary PvP spell
Mercenary Shapeshift
Swift Spectral Rylak
appears to be a new "ghost mount" similar to the ghost gyphon.
The uninstanced version of Hellfire Citadel, which you can reach via flying in Tanaan, now has Felblood Orcs as well as the new rare
Fel Overseer Mudlump
.
Chief Overseer Mudlump
back in Shadowmoon Valley gave the quest
Overseeing and You: Making the Right Choices
to construct a
Booterang
, and the followup daily quest
The Booterang: A Cure For The Common Worthless Peon
to make your lazy peons work for
Netherwing
reputation. His Outland and Draenor versions are dressed identically, including the same whimsical hat and staff.
On the PTR, he's a rare with over 4 million HP with the
Booterang
ability, so it makes sense that he'd drop
Spike-Toed Booterang
.
This area rewards players who have flying with a little extra. We saw something similar last PTR build where players with flying could access special
rares in uninstanced Highmaul who dropped battle pets
.
