Shadow Priest feedback
by Anshlun, the goal of tanks in PvP, and updates on improved communication:
The overall goal for Shadow in 7.1.5 is to reign in extreme situations caused by
, not nerf Shadow overall. In future builds, the duration of Shadow DoTs will be increased as well.
More adjustments are on the way for tanks in PvP; Protection Paladins were able to heal too much and were already adjusted.
Work is being done for improved PTR communication; changing internal procedures takes time.

7.1.5 PTR Feedback: Warlocks, Class Communication, and Nighthold Testing
Following the news that
Nighthold was open for testing on the PTR
, Watcher made a series of posts on PTR feedback threads explaining how the raid testing allows Blizzard to also get data on class mechanics. He then apologized for the lack of communication surrounding 7.1.5 class changes with the long holiday weekend, and sympathized with Warlocks, notably that something was lost when Embers were removed from Destruction, and mechanics like
Demonic Empowerment
, while fitting the fantasy of a spec, are cumbersome to play.
Edit: devolore on Twitter and Reddit has followed up with more thoughts on Blizzard communication improvements.

The Nighthold 7.1 In-Game Cinematic (Spoilers Ahead)
The earlier Nighthold video has been removed at Blizzard's request. It went up a bit earlier than expected, and they are uploading a private version of that cinematic to their channels to reserve the content ID and limit other uploads. (They are
not
posting the cinematic asap, this is for future use.) We have taken our video down to comply with them and avoid automatic content ID notices. Thanks for understanding! There's lots of stuff to do with 7.1 out today,
