Alpha is alpha. Very looking forward to this feature when it’s completed.
Finally people can fly in Draenor/Broken Isles :) That took too long to implement
My guess is , You can't start leveling in Cataclysm due to not having a flying mount. The zones where designed to be done flying as Cataclysm was the only Expansion where you could start leveling directly with your flying mount back thenSo Cataclysm only being 30+ just like flying mounts make sense to meBurning crusade was only once reached 70 ( 68 for druids)Wrath of the Lich King was 78 (Ice crown and storm peaks where not designed for ground mounts)Mop was 90 learned at your faction's shrineThen after that Pathfinders achievement for the rest
does this mean, if u have the achievement u can fly at lvl 10, while if you do not, u can fly at lvl 30?Makes sense to fly right away in some xpacs, especially if u could currently and if you earned it, could also add pathfinders for the missing xpacs which allow people who get the achievement to fly on alts at lvl 10 in those lands.
But can worgen an goblins finally be monks with this new starting zone? Plz ...

My only concern about the Pathfinder change is I can currently fly as soon as I go to Draenor to level but under the new system I'd have to get to level 30 before being able to, so probably the first two zones are land-locked.But then, I have leveled most of my alts and under the current system I have to get to level 60 before I can fly anyway, so I guess it balances out.
Lol, A great art screenshot of modern wow experience compared to a 1999 Northshire Abbey. Blizzard, I love you but please update at least all the starter zones.
They challenged themselves with a difficult balancing question: how to make every levelling option take about as much time as the others. If Cataclysm is much shorter than any other (even without flying at the start), then that could be their solution. Although Burning Steppes isn't the most fortunate example, as it hasn't been the highest level Vanilla zone since Cataclysm, the Swamps of Sorrow were next, and Blasted Lands after that.
