Had a look on iPhone and there doesn’t seem to be a tooltip so unless you know what you’re clicking on by the icon you have no idea what you have selected. Unless it’s just me being a bit of a noob hahaha
Those tooltip are probably PH. (And i really hope that they are.)It would be cool if they would include different utility that would change depending of your spec.Instead of having 1 OBVIOUS CHOICE on each line for a Shadow Priest (4,3,1,1) (unless you'd like to go out of shadow form and use flash heal...)
Such a garbage system. Class design in Battle for Abilities will be the worst since vanilla at this rate, but with less abilities
Awful system plus some specs don't even have a useful choice at #7 unless you PvP.
I don't think a calculator is necessary for this bull*!@#, lol
Do we know yet if we'll be able to adjust our choices like talents, or is it like the current netherlight crucible, where you make your choice per item and that's it?
Can we scrap this stuff already and go back to more traditional RPG elements like third weapon slot, in-depth talent tree, more than a handful abilities and gear stats actually meaningful in PvP?Honestly, nowadays I don't even bother walk to my class hall to upgrade my artifact and when I get a 5-10 ilvl increase piece of gear I simply disenchant it cause it's not worth having to spend my time and gold to mog it for a 0.01% performance increase in PvP.You Blizzard designers sure may have all gotten your game-design diplomas hanging above your heads but that's not worth much compared to the opinion of people who have actually played and loved this game.Guild Wars 2 is a game made of passion, WoW is a game made of and for money, as of lately at least.
I share the concerns with unchangeable choices or not spec-linked. What I like on the contrary is the possibility to make odd choices, not necessarily the one obvious for your spec, because I'm still nostalgic of hybrid specs back in the day, baked just for your needs. As an example on the shaman chest you can make your heal grant you haste, which is designed for healer spec but maybe can be good for enhancement with the instant heal it has.
Wohooo...
I hope this is just a test and live azerite trait tree gets to be more specific for each spec, rather than having all sharing the same options.
I really feel that this set up, as we see not, seems a bit lame and generic between all classes. With the same formula for all pieces of the chest gear. I do hope they change some more of it. I would like to see a little more variety in choices, as well as I do hope that there will be some way to switch what you want, like with the talent tree, but with something that a profession, like inscription, can make to help with it, or maybe even what ever professions can craft that type of armor.
Anyone else think that this is basically netherlight crucible 2.0? With a built-in "relic" as Azerite gear. Invert the Azerite power triangle and compare it to the crucible options. No one liked the crucible either. They just flipped it upside down and put a new coat of paint on it.
Hmm, so I'm a healer and I take the healer "choice." Neat...all this now does it lock me out of using that item in other specs. :/Here's hoping it still has a long way to go but...we've seen these things not change too dramatically in the past.
More "new" changes and "improvements" that just feels like a bad F2P system in a 14 year old...With a subscription. F2P might be wrong, this is what Id expect to see in a mobile game you know the ones with time/content locks. Y'know how legion weapons were handled for the first year just without the micro transactions to speed it up.I really hope that the classic servers are better than this because I want blizzards old standard of quality.
This really doesn't look very fun or interesting. Just stat buffs, no interesting ways of modifying gameplay as most Legion Artifacts (and Leggos but RIP runes) added.
