heh, in contrast to the above I thought Soulrender's room was really nice. Ner'zhul... was sorta 'meh though.
UNBELIEVEABLE BEAUTYLove the colors and detail of each and every piece. Thank you for showcasing these wonderful works of art.It took time , passion, and love of the game to be so creative.
This raid just so happens to be in WoW's interpretation of HELL!
It's a nice aesthetic and wonderful art, although hopefully we get a change of scenery next patch; repeating the same look for multiple patches can become a bit monotonous.Removed
I always love these insider views of how they make the game. Would be nice if they did this more often. And while I might not like the "colors" and what not, I still at least appreciate how much work is done on all of it. Unlike some people who, from my view after having read their comments in this post, just are hating for the sake of hating.
The intricacies of the set pieces are great, but what I REALLY love is the glow effects. Everything looks really foreboding in the pale blue light.
as the years pass on, the game has gotten more serious in it's tone, from a lighthearted blocky pastel colour fantasy, to a more realistic palate in BFA and now in shadowlands a lot of dark hues, I guess it was to be expected, that since the raid is located inside Torghast it will draw on aesthetics from what we've already experienced whilst traversing the tower, one can argue that it's a sign a stylistic cohesion, however I can imagine there will be people saying it's lazy design and asset flipping, like we have the exact same model mounts/pets/gear albeit in different colour palatesand did anyone noticed the lady's name/nickname is Fanny ?
Really like it. Very icc like but also got it's own theme going on.
