Good change but why did it take this long?
holy cyanole actual fixing from blizzard that directly strikes into rmt/bots/boosting/? amazing. kinda sucks that the company has to literally be lifted by the legs and shaken down till it all falls off before they do something.
This is a good idea. I'm looking forward to seeing if it works.
cool blizzard, still loads of WTS in LFG right now. How about you hire 1 person, just A SINGLE person i know you can do it, whose job is to clear LFG of this trash. Pretty simple.
thank goodness
I mean...it's a good change, but will it make any difference? I have my doubts.
Rated Arenas? RBGs?
Imagine implementing this change instead of addressing the actual problem
I think people fail to realize a lot of the spam ads are bots. You are having a laugh if you think one person can contend with bots that can run 24/7
yeah, cause thats not what has motivated countless companies huh?
I'm so tired of wading through WTS groups in group finder. Hope this helps.
Addons were literally able to remove spam from group finder up until blizzard broke api to restrict addons from being able to search or modify it at end of legion. a SINGLE addon author mind you created a mod in free time that removed all the spam efficiently and blizzard broke it.now imagine if blizzard put actual effort in a single person in their free time did before that got broken. It's genuinely not hard to fix this problem, they just genuinely don't want to invest even one cent into doing so when they can just push a hotfix that changes a number (min level) and call it a day. god forbid they take longer than 5 seconds working on and maintaining a spam regexpression list server side to clean all the spam out of there in ALL categories and even trade chat.At least they haven't broken badboy filtering that yet. they did break it auto reporting spam though because again blizzard does not want to deal with spam AT ALL. Badboy reported it with over 99% accuracy and blizzard broke it auto reporting spam accounts because they didn't want to invest resources into investigating spam report and banning accounts. instead they told author of said mod they should ask users to manually report it which in reality means "we know users won't manually report it so now we can go back to not caring about problem"This is not a problem with the devs btw or customer service. most are good people, it's a problem with someone in a suit assessing the damage/annoyance this causes players vs the cost to deal with. they assess that it's more cost effective to do things like this and make you think they are dealing with problem than to actual deal with problem.
Stop discriminating people based on level
Nice. Im sure that they might do something with other low levels as well. lol
