inb4 you actually have to get both faction requirements and its not a beta bug
CHOOSE YOUR ALLEGIANCE!Or... unlock flight.(I know it's probably a bug but damn lol)
Cool. Can't wait to unlock flying again, it really feels nice to earn expanded travel options rather than just pay gold.I don't like winding up having to ferry my lazy friends around though ~_~
It's cool that the requirements for flying require an Alliance and Horde character. While you should always have a character on each faction, it's especially important now that the questing has basically been split into two pieces, one for each faction.
Bug or not, I'd get it at the same exact time. Sucks for people who still only want to play one character and especially one faction. Save your boosts if you haven't used yours yet.
Man, you'd think after all the feedback on the forums they'd just go back to the old system of buying flying per character. After all, if they want to create some gold sinks that's a great opportunity.Oh well, hopefully these achievements will be a breeze!
I really dont mind grinding the requirements. But please, PLEASE, do not make it patch or time gated. The limitation quite kills the game.
I don't mind the pathfinder system as long as we dont have to wait as long for part 2 as we did in legion
Coldpaw, people who are unhappy take the time to say they are unhappy, people who are happy with a system usually don't take the time to say so. Gold tossing to unlock flying is boring and pointless, gold is easy as ever to get and in order for it to be an actual sink of any kind it'd have to be at least 50k a pop.
where does it say you need to have a char on both factions for the pathfinder? all i see is that you have to explore both continents. (which if you guys didn't already know is possible by both factions at max level)Edit: Ok i see it on the sentence under the pic and also the pic.... derp! But i'm with wowhead, most likely a beta bug or it's a dumbed down version of the viceversa achieve for each faction. Let me explain... if your horde you get all the horde achieve's relating to horde on Zandalar and then when you can travel to Kul'tiras i'd imagine there is horde reps there that would be included in the hordes portion of the progression and viceversa for the alliance. I'd doubt even though it's an expansion about both factions that it would require you to break ties with your main faction (if you play solely one faction) just to unlock flying. Unless perhaps Blizz is trying to force true Horde players or true Alliance players to max level an allied race on the opposing faction. But yeah, just my thoughtsPeace
oh great another long and tedious process to "unlock" flying for the 5th time.
The tooltip and achievement description says "Complete the Kul Tiras and Zanadalari achievements listed below." I don't think it's a bug. It appears you will have to play both an Alliance and a Horde character to get the achievement.
It's going to be tough.
could you just faction change to get it?
Same system as legion, I see. First part now, second part a few months down the line. I'm cool with that.
When you hope there wouldn't be another one of these annoying achievements(but you know there's gonna be), and they do it...
