I find the video quite useful for deciding on what to do to prepare for the patch
Glad it was helpful!
Omg! Really nice try to defend this travesty you call 6.1I do realize it is you job now and you somewhat have to defend anything that dev team will produce, but come on?You must be realistic and true to yourself and us - you "customers"There is NO content in 6.1!Period!have fun watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQR9XWGFkj4
Could you please highlight it with time marks for the topics you are discussing? I don't always have an hour to watch the entire thing to find the topic I want to see.
Voidtalon of the Darkstar @ 23:05 btw! Phew found it. Good tips on getting heirlooms now.
As someone that returned to wow for the launch of wod after leaving during the not so good expansion of MoP I find this patch quite..... empty......getting to 100 was fun, the garrison was fun at the beginning, the apexxi dalies where fun, followers where fun, dungeons where fun and HM was fun.... after a while? not so much, I'm starting to believe that blizzard dev's are unable to create interesting and new content for each expansion, could we get some new dungeons for level cap? what about some scenarios? how about not the same damn dailies every day like in mop? I don't know..... I had high hopes for WoD but as of lately I've been having less and less fun.
I personally love the stuff they are adding in 6.1. I am an altoholic and not a hard core raiderglad the game appeals on more levels now with small fun things.I've been saying for years there was never much ROLE in the Role playing game, outside of Healer, tank or DPS.If the popularity of transmog and pet battles are any indication; the game isn't just about combat anymore.
So what happened to all the 'rogue changes' that were leaked prior to the release date of 6.1? Scrapped?Of course. Aside from combat doing stupid AoE, rogues still continue to suck ass this expansion.
Oixio, it's pretty simple really.. No one is making you subscribe and play WoW. If you no longer enjoy it then just unsub and walk away. You don't have to come here and insult people who have put a lot of effort into proving the community with an awesome free resource.Keep up the good work Wowhead folks.
Calamath - point out for me please where did i insulted anyone or even tried to do so?You for other hand, trying very hard to insult me (which does not work btw)All those comments "don't let the door hit you on the way out" is at least you can say immatureWhy did i post my original rant? Or why ppl like me complain about mistakes dev team keep doing?Because we LOVE this gameAnd we do really hope that our cry for changes will bring dev team to their sensesEither way - before YOU try to insult ppl - try to guess, why are they doing/saying all that?Because there is a reason behind itPlease think next time, before jumping into ungrounded conclusions
That mount.. try wearing Infallible Tikbalang Ward while in Spires of Arak when 6.1 is live :)
Doesn't all your data mining violate Blizzard's Term Of Use? I offer you this...http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/about/termsofuse.html12. RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.No Data Mining. You agree that you will not (a) obtain or attempt to obtain any information from the Service or any Game using any method not expressly permitted by Blizzard; (b) intercept, examine or otherwise observe any proprietary communications protocol used by a Game client or the Service, whether through the use of a network analyzer, packet sniffer or other device; (c) use any third-party software to collect information from or through a Game client or the Service, including without limitation information about your character, any Account registered to you, virtual items, other players, or other Game data.Or do you actually have permission from Blizzard to do the data mining you do?

OK Rankkor, thanks for the explanation on the use of your data mining techniques. I just wanted to make sure that my favorite fan site is not getting into any trouble with Blizzard. peace.
Just listening to this now. The garrison vs quest hub feels like a false dichotomy to me. We have both, and that is great. I love having my place I can do stuff, I enjoy seeing my pets parading by and seeing NPCs I have dealt with in other places and times.I absolutely do NOT try to mine, herb, etc on the 8 garrisons I have. But follower quests generate gold, disenchantable stuff, better gear than LFR, etc. I like having options, and having the garrison gives me a LOT more options. I can go hang out in Warspear if I start to miss a half dozen people hopping around like idiots and doing the train in the AH.
