Orgrim looks great. He has an oddly shaped head, though.
I really don't know what should i feel about Garona and Gul'dan...
"The events of Warcraft take place in an alternate timeline..."
Thanks for linking the tumblr, Akamai's caching server hasn't worked for me for a while now so I couldn't see the image in the post.
If orc females actually looked like this, i might actually play something other than a blood elf
Two settings in an alternate timeline... They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here, now aren't they?I pray the "Alternate Timeline" movie isn't as awful as the "Alternate Timeline" expansion.
Those are lovely but I want Khadgar and Medivh posters! *¬*
I've already ordered the one with Travis Fimmel...in Pansers words..."for science" :)
Personally, I think the movie looks epic! Blizzard looks like they've put a lot of time and thought into bringing the story to us "live" in the motion picture experience. I am really looking forward to seeing this movie. I am so hoping that it is a experience like I am expecting it to be! Blizzard PLEASE don't disappoint me !
For gods sake, why does the film have to be stated to "take place in an alternate timeline"? Isn't "we're changing some minor details for story purposes" good enough? People accept that when it comes to films, and they shouldn't have to think about parallel universe crap. Do the Harry Potter films take place in an entirely different universe from the books? No, of course they don't! They are film ADAPTATIONS. I don't know why people go along with the comic book film adaptations crappy reasoning of "we're changing some things, so it must be a parallel universe!". So now what, we have the original universe, the parallel universe Draenor from WoD, and now a whole new parallel universe of Azeroth? Why, just why? Even if Blizzard or Legendary employees have claimed that the film takes place in a parallel universe, I'm just going to ignore it and accept that it's a film adaptation, like everyone should.Although one change that bothers me is that it's claimed that Durotan is Orgrim's chieftain. So what, is Orgrim a member of the Frostwolf clan in the adaptation? Isn't it a vital part of their friendship that they belong to different clans? Why would they change that? Don't even get me started on how awful Blackhand looks in the film, but I can overlook that because the rest of the film looks amazing.
I'm not big on the lore here, who is this Lady Taria and why does she look like Princess Leia?
ORC AGGRO INCOMINGGul'dan looks like ^&*!, were the spikes an afterthought they threw in at the last moment? They don't even look properly attached.
The sad fact is they have to state the film takes place in an alternate timeline so they don't have to answer to every complaint about someone's belt not looking exactly like it does in the game. A large majority of people who play this game go nuts over the smallest of changes. While it's completely unreasonable to expect a 2 hr long movie (or even a series of them) to be able to get across every little detail from a game series that's been going on for over two decades or not change some story elements; there are always going to be those who will not be happy even if it's a well made film.
Nice posters, especially of the queen. I like that actor (got to know her from watching Agents of S.H.I.E.l.D.).
LOL all the orc males are huge massive hulk like brutes and the women are sexy well toned twigs, 8 out of all orc matings end in female in traction for a month :D But no seriously this looks bad ass and cant wait till release :D
