A little bit disapointed by the blood contracts, I was expecting something different than temporal guardian... in 7.2 there should be new bodyguard system, so no reason to bring temporal guardian I guess, also everything in open world is already too easy... but we will see...
I avoid buying from people who undercut by a copper, i'll buy the one a copper more expensive. If all the buyers are doing it, i have no choice but to buy from this game or I wait it out chances are I don't need that item now. And if its a special item that is in my buy range, well it doesn't matter 'cause it was undercut or price lowered enough to buy.

As a seller, I'll never undercut by 1 copper. As a buyer, I purchase whatever is the cheapest. If I am selling stacks of something, I'll undercut by several silver or gold, which usually sets my prices at a low enough point in the list that they'll be the first large stack seen, but still high enough that I'll turn a profit. There are several banking toons on my server that are notorious for the undercut - relist strategy that it's hard to beat them. They are usually the ones who purchase whatever stacks I have listed. I usually never buy from them unless there's no other option.
I don’t go to the AH to buy mats for one flask. I go to stock up so that I know I’ll always have enough. I sort by price per unit, and buy big stacks. I’m more than happy to buy at higher rates (within reason) to buy in bulk and not buy one item 200 or 400 times. Stacks of 50 or 100 are going to get my attention. With mounts, beware general deflation! Charm bracelets are going for around 200g each on my server. You’d have to sell the mount for more than 54k to make a profit. GL
I hate bazillion-stacks-of-one and undercut-by-a-copper. The former is a form of DoS attack, the latter just cheap. Unless there's no other sensible choice, I will never buy from those toons (and I blacklist them when spotted). Obviously I never resort to this, though I might post 6 stacks of one, rather than 1 stack of 6.And the AH changes... sigh, that's a long dead horse to beat, but, yea. In order of priority, I want -LONGER auctions (I cba to waste my time reposting every day), -purchase orders,-a global limit on a number of auctions. As it is, the AH tycoons are blowing the economy up by scaring off both potential small-scale shoppers and potential small-scale sellers. You can only really do 2 things to curb on that:-make actions cancellable, but ensure the items are sent back on a long-ass cooldown (preferably equal to auction length but not less than a day)-curb on participation by adding a fixed amount of auctions an account can have at any given time, as well as a global monthly cap above which posting incurs a crippling non-refundable fee.Quite a few players have given up on AH so long ago, it'd probably lead to supply-side crash at first, but then the economy would rebound as people would notice they get a shot too, without having to compete with obnoxious AH campers. This would also give a chance to longer lived auctions, and force goblins to really think through what market they want to participate in, rather than "i'll reset and try to corner everything I can afford to".
I’ve no problem with the undercut-by-1 sales. In fact, I prefer that to the bigger undercuts which just drive down the prices faster. Minimal undercutting helps avoid crashing the market. When buying mats, I get whatever is the cheapest stack that has enough for what I want to craft. I’ll avoid the single-unit sales unless I just need one or two of an item.
aint nobody got time to play favorites. i call BS on everyone saying they intentionally go for the one priced 1 copper higher. you probably did that ONCE for laughs and then never did it again. get off your high horse. if they're mats you'll eventually buy out everyone including him because if you've been goblining for the past 7+ years you know you've gone way beyond that 10K+ purchases example above. i think i bought over 10k items in a single patch cycle let alone an entire xpac. it's not so much the "savings" "add up" that's worth the effort, its' that when you're buying those quantities, you'll eventually buy out everyone higher and lower to make your flips and pondering your pseudo justice drivel is a waste of time. TIME IS MONEY. while you were patting yourself on the back for not buying out the 1copper undercutter, someone else emptied out the entire market and relisted/flipped. if were talking armor and weapons, then you can do whatever you want. a 1million bis titanforged socketed chestpiece on the first week of a new raid being undercut by the exact same thing by 1 copper won't matter either except to your fragile ego. nobody is buying those to flip. ther'es a reason why everything around you is priced 39.99 instead of 40. because mind games matter. the 39.99 LOOKS much cheaper. cars, houses, food, games, computers, everything is sold this way because it's proven to trick the mind to encourage a purchase. it gives that slight edge. and when were all competing with eachother to outsell our competition, ain't nobody playing your stupid honor games. i'm listing that piece for 999,999 and selling it.
